I bought this as it was well recommended by a friend of mine that sings at a pro level. I run a youtube channel and do a lot of voice work for the videos. This mic was a monumental improvement over the mic I was using before. It captures a perfectly colored voice and requires no post editing. My only gripe is that it is so sensitive that I realized how noisy my home is to record. It actually picked up my cat and dog play fighting outside. Besides that, this mic is just awesome.

I use this mic at work (I do voice-overs) and just love it. It's got a warm, crisp sound, with very low noise. I find, with the right placement, I do very little post-production touch-ups - a bit of EQ (but that's because of my VOICE, not the mic), and slight compression. I was quite surprised to find out how inexpensive it is. I'm looking to get one for recording music - seems like a good drum AND vocal mic!
