Book Synopsis

It is 1935 and Moose Flanagan's dad has just been hired to work as an electrician on Alcatraz Island, home to the most famous prison in the United States. Moose is given more and more responsibility in looking after his sister and helping her to be accepted by his friends. When the school rejects Natalie for the second time, Moose writes Al Capone a letter to see if the famous gangster can pull a few strings to help the family out. Will he?
