Alaffia Everyday Coconut Shampoo Purely Coconut - 32 oz

I have also noticed that the new formula causes severe rash and peeling of the skin on my hands. I have used this for a few years and started using it to avoid Rosemary oil that was in my previous shampoo that aggravated an existing contact dermatitis. I am not sure which is the ingredient that I am sensitive to..Probably would not affect most people.

I just used this and my hair turned into plastic. Take this down.

This shampoo is the best decision for my scalp! I’m 27 years.o. and I tried so much stuff for my head. I have normal strong hair, but the skin is very very dry and it’s a terrible challenge for me to find good caring. This shampoo is 100% helps me. Hair stays cleaned and finally my scalp is humidified! Hope it’s still possible to ship to Ukraine (can’t find it in stores anymore). Thank you, Alaffia!

This shampoo used to be my holy grail product. It worked great to clean my sensitive oily scalp and left my hair feeling healthy. Unfortunately, they have recently changed their formulation and this change is not reflected on the site. The products you find in store have a completely different ingredients list than the one listed here. The new formula is not as simple as it was before, with much more ingredients, and does not work well for me. I am disappointed with the change. Please bring back the old formula!

I’ve been using this shampoo for a couple of years and loved it. Such clean ingredients! Unfortunately, the company recently changed the formula and it includes phenoxyethanol, which is an endocrine disrupter, and none of the online listing have been updated to reflect the change. The rest of the ingredients are quite different too. I won’t be buying anymore and am so disappointed.

This was my favorite shampoo because of its simple ingredients, but the ingredient list has grown a lot recently and I am looking for a replacement now. Please consider changing it back to the old formula!

I switched to this shampoo because the previous brand of shampoo I was using was making my hair fall out in clumps. I loved how this shampoo has minimal ingredients compared to the drug store shampoos. Once I started using this shampoo my hair stopped falling out in clumps. Now, I’ll have like a few strands come out in the shower which is normal. I’m so glad I switched to this brand. Before I tried this brand I tried an expensive shampoo geared towards hair loss and it didn’t work. Just glad my hair and scalp feels much healthier and I have new hair growth as well. My coworker noticed how full my hair has been looking and I recommended she try this as well. Please don’t ever change the formula/ingredients!! I will be a faithful customer from now on, for sure.

I saw this shampoo go viral on TikTok so long ago and I bought it. The lady claimed that it was helping her hair grow and she described it as all natural. I have given this shampoo a shot for over 3 months now. I can't say that its making my hair grow. I haven't really paid attention. What really gets me is that I have dry flakes while my hair is drying after using this shampoo! Not only does my hair feel stiff when I am using it in the shower but as my hair dries my scalp is also extremely dry. I oil my scalp before each wash and I use their conditioner. The conditioner hardly does anything for me. Its pretty thin. My hair is wavy and pretty easy to manage and yet this shampoo and conditioner was still problematic. Using it required me to use products like leave ins and creams afterwards just to try to get my hair to cooperate with me. Will definitely not be repurchasing.

Husband used to have itchy scalp using popular shampoos. Since using EveryDay Coconut Shampoo he no longer has ANY ISSUE with his hair or his scalp. All those chemicals in shampoos are toxic and we are both amazed at the difference in the cleanliness of our hair now!

Made my hair a bit dry while washing however feels like it cleaned my hair and smelt amazing! Like nuts. Stripped my hair of natural oil. I’m west African so I figured this brand would be perfect!

I love this shampoo, I love that the ingredients are clean - I know and could look up every single one! I love their mission at Allafia and this shampoo is excellent! It cleans so well I can go 3 days without washing and is gentle enough it doesn’t dry it out!

After his second shower with EveryDay Coconut, my son said he can't wait to shower again! He generally fights getting in the shower. A few days later, with sparkly eyes, he said he's washing his hair THREE TIMES because the shampoo lathers so much and he loves it! (I never write reviews, but if this shampoo can get a 10 yr old boy to want to wash his hair, I'm all over it!)

Purely Coconut shampoo is nice. It is a new favorite. Subtle fragrance and leaves my hair feeling clean and full.

I've been purchasing this product for 7 solid years! It is one of the few all natural products in the market that doesn't cause inflammation of the scalp. It cleanses my scalp and follicles well with cool water. Paired with the conditioner, these two products keep my scalp healthy and inflammation free! I do recommend other added Alaffia products such as the curl creams for added hydration, as this shampoo can be a tad bit drying which is excellent for the scalp, but a bit dry for the hair. (Do not change this Alaffia!) ÷) ÷) ÷) My #1 Brand choice of a shampoo and conditioner!!!! ÷)
