Love this shampoo - I have thin hair and this shampoo has incredible lather, cleansing and volumizing properties. Literally adds body to my 59-yo baby hair!

I love alot of the alaffia products including the face wash and daily Lotion, and the body wash. The conditioner is even decent but this is quite possibly the worst shampoo I've ever used for my hair. The ends look great, I'm a 2b hair type, but my scalp is so greasy after it dries and it appears to leave a build up on my scalp that I can scrape off with my fingers... I bought the large sized bottle and now I'm sad I'm going to have to be greasy for at least 6 months :(

I’m a Hispanic woman in her late forties with straight hair. When I first tried the Everyday Shea Shampoo (Vanilla Mint), I couldn’t create a rich lather by simply massaging the shampoo onto my scalp. My hair felt like it had been lightly wetted, somewhat sticky but not dirty-smelling. It took me a few tries to realize that this initial experience was part of a transition period, during which my hair was adjusting to this natural shampoo and shedding residues from previous products. This transition phase varied for different people, lasting a few days or weeks. To help this process, I did two things. First, I mixed the shampoo with a bit of water in my hand to create a richer lather before massaging it into my hair, and I shampooed twice. Second, I tried an apple cider vinegar conditioner. Applying it in the shower, I poured the diluted vinegar over my hair, massaged it, and then rinsed it thoroughly. This step was a game-changer, making my hair much easier to comb. I used 1 tablespoon of vinegar mixed with 1/2 cup of water for the vinegar rinse. After two or three weeks, my hair had adapted well enough to stop using the vinegar conditioner altogether.

Ugh, i wanted to like this product so bad. I love the brand and the smell of it. But it leaves my hair greasier then when I washed it. I can go about a week with out having to wash my hair and after I use this product, my hair is a total grease ball. So dissappointed, it didn't work for me. I would love to support this brand.

I love their procuts. I definitely recommend this to everyone. I hope you get to enjoy it as much as me and scent is great. Not over powering but scented strong enough to stay in my hair until the next wash.

Delivery was quick and painless, the smell is wonderful, it made my scalp feel nice! It did not get rid of the clumps of dry scalp, and it was a bit expensive for not keeping my scalp dandruff free for even a day.

I’ve tried every shampoo and conditioner on the market. Seriously. High end, drugstore, literally everything. It didn’t matter what i used, my hair would feel matted after i got out of the shower. it was a STRUGGLE to brush my hair. After showering with this combo the FIRST time, i got out and my hair felt soft. it was easy to brush, and when i blow dried my hair, my scalp had a cooling sensation because of the mint. it felt so fresh and clean. I definitely recommend this product.

I bought the shampoo and conditioner by chance. I have locs in a dry climate. The shampoo soothes my scalp and hair, the conditioner does the same. Bothe leaves my scalp and hair feeling great and smelling sweet. I add a little avocado oil to both before using which helps so I don’t need to add more oil on my locs to keep the moisture in.

I don’t know what to say other than this is the best smelling shampoo EVER. My hair smells great and feels squeaky clean.

This shampoo is great. The smell is wonderful and it lathers well. It was good find for my first natural shampoo. Previously I just used whatever not really thinking about the impact on my hair, health, or environment. I am so glad I made the switch. This shampoo is a good value as well. I tend to use a bit less shampoo than the matching conditioner as I have long hair and sometimes I just rinse my hair with water and apply conditioner so I can comb it afterward. Neither the shampoo or conditioner leave behind any build up and my hair feels clean and appears very healthy. I would definitely recommend this shampoo and the matching conditioner.

What I like about this product is that my hair doesn't dry out from too much washing. The price is great and it lasts a long time due to the size of the container.

I've used a couple different scents of their shampoos and conditioners, as well as their bar soaps. I adore this brand from head to toe! Everything from their mission statement / outreach to their clean ingredients to the fair price - it's all amazing. If it helps: I have straight hair (type 1 hair) and my husband has thicker, wavier hair (probably type 2a or 2b).

Smells great...hair is clean..doesn’t sud up too much, which I like. I switched my children’s and my products to all alaffia. I’m very happy with the products. Great company.
