Beautiful, but felt like it wouldn't last

It's a beautiful dress with an attractive and bold yet not-flashy colors. However, the material of the dress was very thin and it clung to my body when I tried it on. I debated keeping it thinking that I would just get used to how thin and flimsy it was, but I didn't think that would be wise, as when would I actually wear it? I was sad to have returned it, but in the long run, it just wasn't made of quality material.
