Q: Will the weave be damaged and possibly allow mites to pass through if this pillow protector is washed AND dried on full high heat occasionally?

A: Hi 1jaslz, this pillow protector is not specifically tested for resistance to moths. It does have a pore size of under 10 microns which gives it its allergen barrier properties.

If your pillow is completely dry, putting a protector on it will not foster mold growth. Additionally, this protector is not waterproof, so if something is spilled on the protector, the pillow and protector will need to be completely dried out to protect from mold and mold spores

Q: The product description said that it’s “Bed bug bite proof”. Does that also mean that they can trap the bedbugs in the case and prevent them from getting past the pillow protector?
