As long as the mattress is purchased from Target it will be covered under this plan. The Standard Protection Plan covers all mechanical and electrical failures that occur during normal use. You will receive 100% parts and labor coverage up to the original price of the item. The issues that we do not cover include misuse, loss or theft and any cosmetic damage that does not affect the operation of a device. Q: I purchased this in store, the young man seemed to be in a rush but my question is, Do I need to register this or is it already activated and I only need to keep the receipt for when I need to replace the item?

Your protection plan is active, but we will need you to submit the item purchase receipt as it will be required if you need to file a claim.
