  • A: Hello JeremyH, SquareTrade sells extended protection to cover above and beyond what your manufacturer covers. Since SquareTrade is an extended warranty, any existing warranty from a seller or manufacturer does take precedent over the SquareTrade warranty. For normal mechanical and electronic failures, our coverage begins after the manufacturer’s warranty expires. Most items are covered up to one year by the manufacturer. regards, Ali
