A: After you open it it does need to be refrigerated.

Q: does this product contain carageenan or not? Label shown does not list it; however, someone left a 1 star review stating it does contain carageenan.
A: Please know the Almond Breeze products do not contain carrageenan; they are all carrageenan-free. *AC

Q: Does this need to be refrigerated prior to opening?
A: Unopened SHELF STABLE Almond Breeze can be stored in your pantry at room temperature up until the “Best Before” or ""Best if Use By"" date printed on top of the carton. Once opened, SHELF STABLE Almond Breeze® must be refrigerated and used within 7-10 days or it will spoil. *AG

Q: how long will it last on shelf before being opened
A: item purchased in July '17 says best by Jun 15, 2018; refrig & use in 7-10 days; calcium 45%/1 cup; potassium 5%. easy digesting; i don't tolerate doctor's liquid calcium.

Q: What is the expiration? If you can ship this to me, does that mean it doesn't need to be refrigerated?
A: These type of cartons do not come refrigerated. You refrigerate it after opening (or a little bit before you intend to open it so that it will be ready to drink). Stores have these on the shelves. There are also ones in the refrigerated section, but they come in a larger container. That's probably what you are thinking of.
