Book Synopsis
Prepare your business today or risk irrelevance tomorrow. The generation that will reshape everything about how brands connect with consumers has arrived in full force. Generation Alpha, the largest generation in history--with a projected spending power of $5.5 trillion by 2029--will transform marketing forever. Unlike any previous generation, Alphas combine digital fluency from toddlerhood with pandemic-influenced values and millennial-parented expectations. This isn't merely a demographic shift; this calls for a complete reimagining of consumer-brand relationships. Drawing on exclusive six-wave research conducted with global consumer research firm GWI, marketing veterans Dani Mariano and Josh Campo present groundbreaking insights that challenge conventional wisdom about marketing to future consumers. Through proprietary data, interviews with CMOs from leading global brands, and their own extensive leadership experience at Razorfish, Mariano and Campo demonstrate why assuming Alphas will simply follow Gen Z trends is a catastrophic business mistake. Mariano and Campo have advised household-name brands for decades, and in The Alpha Revolution they provide clear strategies for how forward-thinking organizations can prepare now for:- Building authentic brand relationships with consumers who can spot inauthenticity from toddlerhood Navigating the post-funnel marketing era, in which every touchpoint must simultaneously build brand and convert Creating experiences that balance advanced technology with the in-person connections Alphas crave Developing products and services that meet the heightened expectations of consumers raised by tech-savvy parents
The Alpha Revolution isn't just about understanding tomorrow's consumers--it's an essential playbook for business transformation in a new marketing paradigm. For CEOs, CMOs, and business leaders of all kinds, this is a must-read blueprint for survival in the Alpha-dominated future that's already begun.
About the Author
As former CEO of Razorfish, Josh Campo is passionate about understanding people and how brands can engage meaningfully with them. A technologist by trade and a self-proclaimed college dropout, his unconventional background is a superpower as he leads diverse teams that deliver creativity, strategy, and innovation for world-renowned brands. Many describe him as a consummate leader. His clients know him as a trustworthy advisor, and he has worked with household brands like Samsung, New York Life, Church & Dwight, Ralph Lauren, Walmart, H&R Block, American Express, Chase, Panasonic, and more. He also learns a lot from his six-year-old daughter about what a unique time it is to grow up. Dani Mariano is CEO of Razorfish, running the agency's day-to-day operations in addition to leading client partnerships rooted in brand purpose that drive business performance. Over the years, she has partnered with businesses who were caught off guard by Gen Z, assuming they would act like mini-Millennials. She has helped many brands define their new eras of marketing, including Samsung, DirectTV, Ulta Beauty, Audi, and more. In 2024, she became a board member of the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance and was recently selected to deliver the keynote for the Women of Web3 session at the United Nations 78th Science Summit. Dani's two daughters have inspired her to think differently and remain committed to understanding people, not just consumers.Dimensions (Overall): 6.0 Inches (H) x 9.0 Inches (W)
