Altec Lansing HydraBoom Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker - Black

Bought this from Target about 6 months ago. It no longer holds a charge and must be plugged in to power to work. It is NOT portable - which is why i bought it. Now its just junk. Tired of looking at it. Its going to the dump. Cant recommend this for anybody.

Barely used - battery always maintained - plays 4 songs before dying. Product sucks! Comapny response was if its past the year warranty - tough luck. If you want an expensive throw away speaker - this is it! Stay away from Altec products!

I bought this last year and over all it was great but all of a sudden the bass speaker is vibrating, I use this in my garage and really don't blast it so I don't know why it's doing it. now. Sometimes it seems it doesn't hold a full charge but I normally have it pluged in the garage.

I bought it under the impression it does a great job of charging my phone when I'm at the beach but then won't even hold a charge itself to play music. Wasted money on it when it was more. This is my second altec speaker and some how all of them do this after the second use. Save your money.

Sounds like it is busted on first use. Turned on, connected, and sounds like a sparkler. Called customer service where they told me I cannot return it, but I can ship back to them and get a “new” speaker in 10-15 days after processing. Do not purchase.

We got the speaker for a great price and it's fantastic quality.

For 100 dollars I would expect it to be louder. It has bass but it’s not louder than an Echo Dot, honestly. The charge is finicky. The lights are a cool effect but would only use for my bathroom because of how loud it gets.

I bought this last year as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend . It work great for a few months now it doesn't charge or anything . I'm really disappointed, waste of money , too bad I can't return it . Do not buy and waste your money !!!!

Power and charging issues abound. Worked two times, with second time having issues with charging and powering on. Like every other negative review regarding this speakers power, I could not power on the device and it seema like it wasn't even charging. The charging light would not indicate that it was charging regardless of any charger I used.

This devise will not hold a charge. It will shut off immediately even after being charged all night. I tried to play it while plugged in, same thing. I think it is defective.
