Incredibly Bad Battery With Worse Customer Service
The battery of this speaker died after it was splashed. Sending this out to Altec Lansing for an RMA, the company that deals with it, Sakar International, are completely dilatory about sending a replacement. It has taken four calls and having to explain multiple times when the device is already in their hands with confirmation.

It is difficult to connect to one or both speakers. The sound quality and level is poor. We are very disappointed since we owned a Lansing mini Lifejacket that was perfect.

Out the box didn't work
I purchased this for myself. I had purchased 2 of them as a gift for family at Christmas at Target and they worked fine. purchased one for myself in May (5 months later) from the same Target and just knew It would be fine so I threw away the receipt and box it came on. plugged it up a month later and it wouldn't work at all! I'm so mad!

Works just fine
I was hesitant to keep this due to some reviews. We have used it a few times. Sound is fine. Bass is good. For the sale price we paid, it's a great value for the pool and outdoors. Make sure you don't stand it on one of the speakers LOL 5 stars for value because we paid $20

Speaker stopped working after a few months
It stopped working after only a few months. I have another model I got a few years ago and it still works amazing so I thought I'd get this smaller speaker for more on the go. Total waste of money. And it ofcourse stopped working shortly after the return window.

This thing is ridiculous. I’ve used it max 3 times and now it will not turn on. A red light appears when it’s plugged in to indicate that it’s charging, but it won’t even turn on when it’s plugged in. it is NOT reliable.
