I love the small opening on the lid for drainage purposes. The metal heats up evenly and quickly even on a induction cooktop stove. I wished I got the bigger sized pot! Love it!

It’s versatile, durable, and the perfect size for various cooking needs. Specially that there is not seams or screw holes on the inside of the pot which makes it easy to clean.

Normally I only will purchase the Cusinart brand from France but I think this Alva brand will be my new favorite cookware. It’s a lot lighter than Cusinart which I love. The lid fights perfectly and it has a slot in it to release the steam which is great too. It looks like it’s a heavy pot but it’s not at all. I also love that it has measurements inside the pot. Cusinart doesn’t have that. It’s going to take some getting used to because it’s in liters and I’m used to using cups when measuring. It’s also dishwasher safe but I prefer handwashing my cookware.

It has a super sleek, clean design, with a built in valve for steam to escape from, as well as keeps things from over boiling. Instructions advise against putting in the dishwasher, so I've only had washed, but so far, super easy to clean. My only drawback, which is no fault of the products, is I have a huge family. So I tend to use much larger pots. But for smaller things, such as soup, making tea, single serve meals, it's magnificent! Super versatile! I would love to purchase the same pot in a larger size!
