The lid is glass which is nice since I can see how the food is doing while I’m cooking it without lifting the lid. The nonstick ceramic surface works well at keeping food from sticking to it. This pan feels heavy and sturdy. I am expecting to get a lot of use out of this one! It’s a great size for me and I will use it often when I make veggie side dishes, pasta sauce, meat dishes, and more. It’s also nice to know it is rated up to 400 degrees F for dishes that start on the stove but finish in the oven. It’s easy to clean as well. Overall, this is a very versatile pan and I really love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pan. The 11 inch Maestro nonstick skillet with glass lid by Alva has quickly become my favorite pan in my kitchen. The 4.2 quart capacity is just right to cook meals for two to four people. This pan is deep with straight sides giving you a larger workable surface but not so deep that it becomes difficult to handle. The Maestro pan is heavy. Made from high quality materials with high quality design and construction, it performs just like it should every time. The finish is very nonstick which has helped me to cut back on the amount of fat I use. The thicker walls/bottom help regulate heat for even cooking. It also browns and fries very well. The lid is vented which is a feature I look for when shopping pans. The handles are strongly and securely fastened. Cleanup is a breeze. Foods do not stick to this pan making it fast and easy to wash it right up. I am so happy with the quality and function of this pan. I will definitely look to Alva for my future purchases of cookware.

At 11 inches, 4.2qt. it’s big enough for family meals but not so huge that it’s a pain to handle. The ceramic nonstick surface is amazing! Unbelievable… nothing sticks, cleanup is super easy, and it’s PFAS-free, PFOA-free, and PTFE-free so I don’t have to worry about weird chemicals leaching into my food. I’ve used it on gas and electric, because I have two kitchens, and it heats evenly every time. It feels really solid and well-balanced without being heavy, which makes flipping and stirring effortless. The glass lid is a nice bonus too since I can actually see what’s happening while things simmer. It has a TEN YEAR guarantee!! Honestly, I’m blown away by how good this pan is. If you’re tired of cheap nonstick pans that scratch or warp after a few months, this one will completely change your cooking routine. The heavy duty aluminum gauge helps cook the food evenly. The heat is distributed evenly because of the heavy bottom. The nonstick is made with diamond reinforced ceramic which allow cook without scratches, peeling, flaking. I cooked chicken and it was cooked evenly and was super juicy. This pan is great to sauté anything or just cook. I can cook freely because this pan is free from PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, lead, and cadmium. The best part is that is oven safe up to 400 F this is perfect when I need to start on the stove and finish in the oven.

The heat distribution is equal throughout the pan. It cooks everything evenly. It is super easy to clean. Nothing sticks to it. Super easy to clean. This pan is absolutely beautiful. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, can I just say wow? I am a cooking snob. I will admit that. And from the second I opened the box I could feel the quality and the durability. I immediately used it to make arroz con polo. It was amazing. Heated evenly. I didn’t have any of those weird spots where part of food was cooked better. No weird smells (I washed it but sometimes it still happens on first cook). In cooking and cleaning nothing stuck to it. This literally is a game changer in the kitchen. I hate cooking and the pan makes food stick or burn. Not this pan. I have since made eggs, grilled cheese and a pasta —- everything slides right off. No ridiculous scrubbing or soaking. This is a product I would have never found without influenster, and I can’t thank you enough!

It is pricey but worth every penny! it is rather large, but it actually saves me on dishes do to the fact I can cook multiple items at once in it, it is very heavy and nonstick. This is probably the best thing that I own right now besides my wok. But as I stated, it is very pricey, but definitely well worth it after using it a few times I can see it’s going to last a long time.

It’s heavy but it’s so efficient cooking vegetables compared to my other nonstick pans. The heat distribution was even and can easily cook on a little higher heat without the risk of burning the pan. It’s easy to wash with a sponge and dish soap. I don’t put in the dishwasher to ensure no damage to the nonstick and lasting durability. I’d highly recommend this line - there is a price tag but I’d stick with getting the pots/pans that I make the most use of.

this pan is the perfect size to use for just about everything. In fact, I have a similar style pan that’s cast-iron that I use every single day. I love it, but I’m really happy to have this nonstick version. This is one of three pans I purchased, and it is beautiful, pretty heavy duty, but not too heavy to pick up and really well made. So far, I am extremely happy with my purchase and I hope that all three of the pants I bought last for a long time. However, I am very realistic about how even the best nonstick will wear out after a couple of years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pan!! The Maestro Nonstick Skillet is the most easiest frying pan to take care of. No scraping or scrubbing to clean. Wipe with soft rag or sponge, with soap and water, towel dry and that's it. You do have make sure it's well centered on the eye on your drive, after that it cooks well. I've cooked meat, eggs and fries. Very simple. No stickling whatsoever so ever. The only draw back is you definitely have to watch the handles on the skillet. They do get hot

They arrived quickly and were carefully packed. Instructions on how to care for the pans are clear and helpful. I am happy with my purchases and would buy Alva products again.
