Book Synopsis
If you are caring for or supporting a loved one with Alzheimer's or dementia you know that is not an easy journey. This book will give you practical advice mixed with spiritual wisdom and counsel gained from personal experience. The authors, Jim Henry and Deb Terry, have personally walked through the loss of a spouse and a parent to this disease. From their experiences they will help you through 18 Central Questions that you will undoubtably face from early onset through advanced stages. You will gain strength and comfort as you become the most effective caregiver possible while also taking care of yourself along the way.About the Author
Jim Henry is one of the most respected Christian leaders of our day. The author of eight books, Dr. Henry is a popular speaker and conference leader. Completing two terms as the president of the Southern Baptist Convention, this denominational leader serves on numerous boards and commissions throughout the United States. A graduate of Georgetown College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, he served as the senior pastor of the mega church First Baptist Church in Orlando for twenty-nine years. He lives in Orlando, Florida. Deb Terry was born in Albertville, Alabama, where she lived for most of her life. Deb is fulfilling God's calling on her life to serve Him in vocational ministry: first, through music ministry as a singer-songwriter and recording artist; second, through serving in various ministry positions in churches in Alabama and Florida, which she has done for over twenty years. Formerly the Director of Children's Ministry at Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Alabama and then at First Baptist Church in Orlando, Deb and her husband, Scott, currently reside in Central Florida, where Deb serves.Dimensions (Overall): 9.0 Inches (H) x 6.0 Inches (W) x .3 Inches (D)
