Q: Can I use this on repairing the seal in a metal and plastic Mr Coffee metal 10 cup carafe

submitted by Me - 2 months ago
  • A: E6000 will bond metal to rubber very well but it is not a food grade or food safe adhesive. Additionally, the upper tolerable temperature for E6000 is 180F; we do not recommend its use for this application. Thank you for your support of Eclectic Products and Target!

Q: Will this work for trophies?

submitted by Momma - 1 year ago
  • A: E6000 will work great for this application! Apply the adhesive to both surfaces to be bonded and allow it to partially cure for approximately 2 minutes before mating the surfaces together. Allow repair to cure for 24 hours. Depending on the materials and temperature, maximum strength may not be reached for 48 to 72 hours. Thank you for your support of Eclectic Products and Target!

Q: Is E6000 good for nylon to nylon fabric patch?

submitted by TDL - 1 year ago
  • A: E6000 is a great choice for bonding nylon-to-nylon. It will hold the patch very well. For best results treat the product as a contact adhesive, meaning apply the product to both surfaces and allow 2-3 minutes for the product to get tacky before mating the two together and clamping/securing with weight for 24 hours. Q: Will this hold the handle of my mug together? I would normally use epoxy but I've ran out and have some E6000. Thank you :)

submitted by ark - 1 year ago
  • A: E6000 bonds great to repair ceramic and other mug materials and should do a fine job repairing the handle. However, its upper temperature limit is 180 F, so very hot beverages may cause the adhesive to soften and loosen. Thank you for your support of Eclectic Products and Target!

Q: What's the difference between E6000 multi purpose and E6000 clear

submitted by Dm - 1 year ago
  • A: E6000 is offered in a few different sizes and packaging configurations. Any tube that has a tapered tip (like the 2.0 oz. craft product) is our Low Viscosity formula, which is thinner than our Medium Viscosity which comes in larger tubes (3.0 oz. and 3.7 oz.). E6000 "Multi-Purpose" is verbiage Target uses for our adhesive. The only difference between these items is their thickness--strength, set time, cure time, elongation/flexibility, etc. are all the same. Thank you for your support of Eclectic Products and Target!
