Q: Is it possible to assemble the desk without installing the top shelf? I was considering placing my pc case/tower on the second shelf from the top and don't know if it would fit with the top shelf on. The case in question is 18.7"H x 8.7"W x 18"L
A: Hi Van, Thanks for your question. I understand you would like to assemble the desk without the top shelf. You most certainly can build the desk without the top shelf. Additionally, there is not 18" of clearance with the top or bottom shelf installed. You could remove either the top or bottom shelf and your computer tower would fit just fine without compromising the integrity of the desk. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you, Matt
