My son loves the Elephant and Piggie series. The font is generally large, and helps him learn when to emphasize words, and even when to bring it down to a whisper. The simple illustrations are also entertaining. These stories have built his confidence in reading. I love these Volume Sets because they take up less space than buying each individual hardcover book!

Love these books!
Both me and my kids *love* these books! And I love that my daughter can read every word of them on her own (she’s 6 and has been reading them for about a year now). It’s built her confidence to read these books, and she’s branching out to more difficult ones. But Elephant and Piggie will always be a favorite in my house!

Wonderful and Fun Books
My 7 year old loves these books. They’re just so fun and wholesome. We love Harold and Piggie. My son started reading them a few years ago and now we’re hooked. We got it on release day and he finished it that evening. He rereads them over and over. Mo Willems is an excellent writer. We also read the Pigeon books that he writes. We’ll probably start reading the Squirrel books soon as well. I can’t say enough good things about these books. Wonderful for kids and families.
