Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Complex Color Care Shampoo - 11.5 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The roses line are my favorite products to buy for my skin now. I’m so happy I found this brand. It smells soo good, leaves my hair feeling clean, and perhaps I use a little more than I should cause I’m used to creating a big lather, but I absolutely love that the ingredients are more human and environmentally friendly than the cheap hair products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite not having colored hair I selected this shampoo as I was hoping it would be gentle on my fine, curly, semi dry and sensitive scalp (the other rose items are wonderful on my skin). The shampoo lathers nicely, rinses out well and leaves my hair shiny and lightly scented. I have not noticed any scalp irritation or buildup. Might be the perfect shampoo!

My hair is sensitive to products. Too much protein makes it brittle and dry, too little protein makes it limp and flat. This shampoo (and the conditioner) have a perfect protein/moisture balance! It was hard to find something that moisturizes without the greasiness, but I've found it here.

Their products are so great! My skin is so sensitive, their products are not affect my skins.

I love Andalou's skincare, and I love the rose products and their fragrance, so I had very high hopes for this shampoo and conditioner. I honestly went through about 3/4 of the bottles to give it a fair chance. In the end, I just really wasn't happy with it. I've used many shampoo/conditioners for color treated hair on the full scale of drug store to professional brands, and I feel like this set just really isn't what it could be. My hair is short, so it's not overprocessed with color, and not dry or damaged. Even so, it felt more dry with this combo than I have truly experienced with a lot of other products for color-treated hair. I feel like this product needs to be reformulated to match the standard I appreciate from so many other Andalou products.

This is really gentle. Not foamy but it works well.

This shampoo is great. it smells good, it stop my hair from falling, and it gives my hair full body.

Honestly, this product is nothing to brag home about. I bought this along with the 1000 roses conditioner after reading the positive reviews. After using it, I can say that it makes my hair more dried out, frizzy, and unmanageable. My hair is in knots after getting out of the shower, causing a lot of it to shed in my hairbrush. Pretty disappointed as I normally really like Andalou products. Unfortunately Im going to stop using this and wont purchase again as my hair actually feels more damaged after a couple of uses.

There was absolutely no rose fragrance in the Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Color Care Shampoo, which I have been using for the past five years. I had to add my own essential oils to it recently since the shampoo was virtually fragrance free. I am not sure if this was a response to the people who supposedly have 'sensitive skin' who then complain all over the internet when natural shampoo or shower gel has a strong enough fragrance to be deemed pleasantly luxurious - as Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses was prior to this recent reformulation. These consumers account for only a small part of the population and I just want to say to them: "Buy fragrance free products if it bothers you so much! Why ruin it for the rest of us?" Andalou Naturals just took the luxury and enjoyment out of their 1000 Roses product line by decreasing the rose fragrance to virtually undetectable levels in their shampoos, shower gels, and lotions. If it were not for the beneficial plant stem cells in this product line, I wouldn't even be using this product line any longer - especially since there is often a sticky residue like feeling after showering since the products are not formulated or blended well. There is also a lot of separation of the shampoo or body gel where the water sinks to the bottom of the shampoo or body gel after a while. I don't understand how the company doesn't look into this!

Love the smell, the feel of my hair after using, goes well with the lavender conditioner I pair it with, my color is still good and just had my hair dyed not too long before starting this product. And don't know why ppl would talk of skin or cream for this product, but it leaves hair feeling awesome!!!
