Q&A(2)

Q: Hello, if this item is purchased at this time from Target online, will it have been manufactured in the USA and state "Made in America" on its packaging? Thanks!

submitted by An - 7 months ago
  • A: The USA Made formulas are now shipping directly to customers who purchase from Andalou.com, as well as to our retailers, but we cannot guarantee this if purchasing online from any other store except our website. If you are in store, look for the “Made in the USA” (instead of “Born in the USA”) messaging on the bottom or back of the outside packaging.

Q: Hi, Is this gentle enough to use after a retinol cream?

submitted by AandT - 3 years ago
  • A: Hello AandT, Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, we cannot comment on the use of retinol with our products, so we recommend consulting with your dermatologist. Alternatively, you might be interested in our Age Defying Rejuvenating Plant-Based Retinol Alternative Range with Bakuchiol. What is Bakuchiol? (pronounced bah-KOO-chee-all) Bakuchiol is a natural alternative to retinol derived from the Psoralea Corylifolia plant, also known as Babchi, which is native to India, where it has long been used in Ayurvedic practices. Retinol is a long-trusted skin care ingredient that has been clinically shown to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin firmness and improve the skin tone and texture. Bakuchiol is clinically proven to offer the same anti-aging results as retinol without the well-known side effects. Synthetic retinol is known to cause irritation, redness, peeling and sun sensitivity. Can I use Bakuchiol in the daytime? Traditional retinol products are advised for night use only. Bakuchiol is safe to use in the day, the night or both. We always advise using a daily SPF to protect your skin from premature aging and sun damage.
