allergic reaction

My daughter is anaphylactic to wheat. We were very happy to find a gluten free Mac n Cheese that she likes. The issue we have is the last 3 times she's ate it she has an allergic reaction. Luckily she doesn't need her epi-pen, but she does have to take Benadryl and her emergency inhaler. She has thrown up after eating it. She wheezes and has a hard time breathing. Has the recipe changed? Has where it's manufactured at changed? These are very important things for a person that can die from eating certain foods.

I just realized this product isn’t organic in any way. What happened to Annie’s?

I've been using this product for a while now and I can definitely confirm that this tastes great. That being said, I do have one issue that concerns the cheese mix. When added it always clumps making it difficult to evenly mix.

Tasteless and mushy! Do NOT cook as directed. You'll over cook the pasta and it will turn to paste.

You have to cook rice noodles for a bit longer, I like them really soft. Added a nice amount of butter and milk and holy cow it was so good. Definitely recommend, best gf mac out there!

Noodles were fine the dried cheese has too much sodium. I I understand the sodium is used to keep the cheese dry but it is not edible.

This still has the same Mac and cheese taste. The noodles are thicker than the non gluten free ones. We really like it and I definitely recommend trying it. It is pricey but watch for sales. And if you have to eat gluten free it’s worth it.
Dont bother

Yumm yumm. My only recomendation is you change the instructions to add 3 mins to the cook time. Whenever my wife makes this, she follows the box, and it tastes like eating woodchips. It needs an extra 3 minutes to boil in order to get soft enough. I noticed there's a few bad reviews on here. I'm guessing those people followed the box.

I cooked it according to the package after 8minutes noodles were still hard. After 11 minutes some noodles were hard and some were soft. Sad and disappointed.

The pasta was hard, and not in an "al dente" sort of way. It was like eating bland twigs. Super disappointing since I love other Annie's products.

Corn and Rice Pasta Please

Took longer than instructed to cook (by 50%+) and the water gets very gluey. Our preferred gluten free pastas are corn and rice blends - it would be great if Annie's had this!

First time trying this, attempting to eliminate gluten from my diet. I was pleasantly surprised! I would recommend cooking it longer than the box indicates. It served as a side to our protein for a family of 3. I will be buying again. My 10 year old macaroni lover ate his portion right up!

Just had some of this wonderful mac n cheese today. I am GF, and also LF, lactose free, so the advantage of using my LF dairy milk is great! Wonderful texture, creamy sauce, and I love the flavor. I say had some, this box made enough for several more meals for me. I will be buying again.

So disappointed in my most recent purchase! Cannot believe how little comes in a box now! It also seems they’ve changed the cheese recipe? Tasted so much more like the crappy velveeta fake cheese than I ever remember. Not worth the price.

I was skeptical based on all the reviews saying the recipe has change and these are awful now... They're not. Maybe there's a learning curve for the pasta, but as someone who's been working with glutenfree pasta since before it was "cool" this is great. Super easy. Significantly cleaner ingredients than all other Mac n cheese boxes out there. Especially the GF options. Although this is definitely not craft mac n cheese it's good. My husband did mention it seemed bland, but I'm 90% sure he'd think it was super flavorful if I just added some turmeric and paprika for a richer color. Personally, I thought it was delicious. Super creamy, perfect cheese taste, texture of the pasta was great. Just do a taste and texture test before straining. The boil times are definitely wrong. *Don't let the noodles cool off. They're rice noodles. Just like rice paper wrappers or all other rice pastas they'll stiffen up if they cool off too much resulting in "al dente" texture even if cooked perfectly. *I always use real butter and whole milk, which could contribute to our better experience with thus "new" recipe.
Not worth the price

First time trying this. I was surprised after boiling the pasta (following the directions on the box) to find how very little pasta was there. Not only that, but the noodles were quite hard. I’m not sure if this was just a bad batch or what, but I was a little disappointed.
