Description
Academy Award(R) nominee Quvenzhane Wallis (Beasts of the Southern Wild) stars as Annie, a young, happy foster kid who's also tough enough to make her way on the streets of New York in 2014. Originally left by her parents as a baby with the promise that they'd be back for her someday, it's been a hard knock life ever since with her mean foster mom Miss Hannigan (Cameron Diaz). But everything's about to change when the hard-nosed tycoon and New York mayoral candidate Will Stacks (Jamie Foxx) - advised by his brilliant VP, Grace (Rose Byrne) and his shrewd and scheming campaign advisor, Guy (Bobby Cannavale) - makes a thinly-veiled campaign move and takes her in. Stacks believes he's her guardian angel, but Annie's self-assured nature and bright, sun-will-come-out-tomorrow outlook on life just might mean it's the other way around.

ONLY DVD NO DIGITAL COPY
Should have read the reviews - still no digital copy as indicated in the title/description, it is just the DVD. @Target please update, looks like this update has been needed since 2017/2018!

didn't include the digitsal copy
I purchased this DVD so I could install it on our Movies Anywhere account to watch on our iPad, but it didn't come with a digital copy as advertised. I love the movie, but this was falsely advertised as including the digital copy, when it didn't include it.

I have bought this movie about 10 times ! I have 11 nieces and nephews and everyone of them love this movie . Its fun its catchy its everything i want in a movie for my kids to watch ! Highly recommended.

Love this movie!!!
Forget what the critics say, this is a fun filled update. It is true that no one can hold a candle to Carol Burnett, but everyone still does a phenomenal job. And let's face it, the original absolutely needed a little more " color!!" Both films are fun/interesting to have in your collection. And love this soundtrack too!!!
