These have been great! My son is big building fan and he’s really enjoyed putting these together. Box says for ages 10 and up but he’s 8 and has put several together all by himself so if you have an avid builder these would probably work for them!

This set has the potential to be a really good Lego dupe. But the pieces are not very durable. They don’t hold together well and they are extremely small for someone with big hands. Each set comes with his own book of directions, which just gives you a diagram of what it should look like and what you should do. My husband put the smallest helicopter together and it took him almost two hours. That is good because it’s keeping him focused, but I don’t see it being something that children would want to work on long-term; it keeps falling apart due to the pieces not being very durable or sturdy. You do have a lot of options for the different builds. But, they come separately in their own little bags that are not resealable (think of a bag of chips). I put them in small storage bags to keep from losing any of the pieces. With 659 pieces, you have something for everyone. But, make sure they understand, they do not work like Lego’s and you will need patience.
