Unfortunately, I didn’t have as great of an experience putting together the F/A-18 Hornet as I had hoped. I know it isn’t Lego brand, but there is a noticeable difference in quality when putting the pieces together. Some seemed very tight compared to others and didn’t want to click into place. I also seem to be missing a few pieces. So unfortunately there were parts of the plane that I could not assemble. One very surprising problem was the nose of the plane and how it was kept together by a small thin plastic stick and a clip, which made the nose wobbly and the tiny stick actually snapped in half at one point during assembly. The nose can still be held in place by the clip, so that’s not a problem but still disappointing. I was actually very pleased when I saw how the pieces were packaged, hoping they were placed together in a way to find them easily. Unfortunately that wasn't the case, but we organized them in color and size which made things easier to find. Otherwise it was a fun set to put together and if it had all the pieces, I know it would be even way more fun.

My son loves building legos and also loves airplanes, so he was so excited to get this jet set. His dad used to fly on f18s, so this was fun for them to do together. Instructions were easy to follow and my son needed minimal guidance.

This was really fun to put together. It only took a couple hours, but it was great. The pieces fit snugly together. This is just like a certain name brand, really no difference. It was larger than I expected. Even kept my teens occupied.

This product comes with 772 pieces. The box says the appropriate age is 10 years and up. We would definitely recommend adult supervision on this product. It is definitely very difficult. This product is not as easy as Lego products What I liked about the product was the product came with ok instructions and the quality of the building blocks were great. What we would improve or change about the product. This product is hard for 10 to 15 years. I even brought in an experienced model builder. He couldn't even do it either. Also we used several people that are experienced Lego builders. It stumped them. I would recommend this product to expert model builders. .
