Q: Does this work to find lost luggage if I put it in my suitcase? What if the bag is in another city because it didn't get put on the flight? Will it still be able to locate the bag??
A: Hi, BethEB! Regarding your question about the Apple AirTag (1 Pack): The AirTag keeps track of your keys, wallet, luggage, backpack, and more, all in the Find My app. If it’s further away, hundreds of millions of Apple devices in the Find My network can help track it down. All anonymously and encrypted for privacy. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact MyTGTtech at 877-698-4883 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.
submitted byIvan - 3 years agoTarget expert supportA: Yes you will be able to track it
submitted byUnknown - 1 year agoA: It may take several minutes, perhaps as long as 30, but long as the battery is good and it is near or passes near any Wi-Fi router, or Bluetooth devices, or is out in the open so that it can “see” satellites, and even better if it is near any other Apple devices, it will be trackable. In Lost Mode, other Apple devices will secretly share their location with the AirTag (or any other Apple device), even inside buildings. I’ve read several incredible stories of people finding their lost luggage several states away and with the assistance of local police busted rings of airline luggage thieves. Side note: never attempt to get back your property by physical force. A physical touching may be considered a battery, at least in my state, and some others, and a battery is not justified by a property crime. Get some AirTags. I already have 8 and am here to buy a few more. Good luck.

Q: My husband would like to use an AirTag to track his 88 year old father when he drives his car. We live 150 miles away and his father does not own a cell phone or have internet. Will this work?
A: Myself, I would tell him that you are going to place 1-2 AirTags in his car so that you can know where he is if he’s missing or even forgets where he is! Get his consent in writing. In some states it is illegal to track someone without their consent. Install an the AirTag in a protective magnetic case to stick on a metal component under his vehicle, and in case it gets knocked out by a sharp jolt, a second one tucked into a backseat so that it’s out of the way, protected, and soon forgotten. Good luck with your dad. Get him a phone and show him how to use it and charge it. iPhones are easiest, albeit most expensive. Some states work with the federal government to provide free (but kinda junky) phones to low income residents. Good luck with pops!
submitted byErichka - 8 months agoA: A better Apple product for this use would be an Apple Watch w/ cellular. With most cell phone carriers, you can add a cellular Apple watch to your account with Family Setup for a non-cell-phone-haver.
submitted byLJ - 3 years agoA: Hi, LivinginTC! Regarding your question about the Apple AirTag (1 Pack): Airtags need an iPhone around during setup and would require an Apple device nearby for them to ping off of for location. Q: Will this fit in a wallet?
A: Hi Nancy, thanks for reaching out about Apple AirTag (1 Pack). while you might be able to squeeze an AirTag into some wallets, it's generally not designed to fit comfortably in most standard wallets due to its thickness and shape. You'll likely experience some degree of bulging. For a more seamless integration, consider a slim AirTag holder or a wallet specifically designed for trackers. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.
