Apple Cider Glazed Donuts - 10oz/6ct - Favorite Day™

I am a long time home and professional baker. I back healthy muffins and loaves, along with some sweets for dogs, Opossum and Raccoons..YES :) On the day I was feeling quite tired and needed sweets ( fresh fruits with various sweet type x̌ muffins etc, in which to make their desserts, I grabbed these thinking they would be fresh and taste good with apples, smelled nice though dissatisfied that they now appeared frozen and put out to thaw...wet, especially on the bottom which ruined the glaze and texture. Also being frozen for however long altered the flavor as it should have been being named Apple Cider 🍎. I would not buy them again as they taste artificial and I would not give something that does not taste fresh. Yes, ALL animals need and deserve fresh healthy food just as people do. And some yummy treats too 🍩 🧁 🥧 but not these...

These smelled so good when I bought them but when I got home and ate one…a) glaze was very wet instead of dry and crispy, b) donut was very dry and c) flavor was good but due to a and b I couldn’t eat more than the one bite. I won’t buy again

This is probably the driest donut I’ve ever had. Don’t waste your money.

Dry and not very apple flavored. The glaze seemed melted into the donuts, as if they were previously frozen, then thawed to sell. There are better ones out there for your fall fix.

Terribly dry. And soggy at the same time. Ew.

The glaze was wet and sticky but the donuts were a bit dry. I don’t like the wet glaze at all. When I think of a glazed donut, I think of that crinkly glaze. The flavor on these was bland too

The outer coating isn't a hard or crinkly glaze it's a wet thin goop. So the outside ended uo too wet, flavor was not great, not awful.

Except for the slimy glaze very dry and no flavor. 1 star is being generous.

I really enjoyed them. Obviously they’re not going to be on the same level as a cider donut you’d get at a pumpkin patch, but these are very good. I’d buy them again!

Picture is not accurate! No glaze. These are soggy almost slimy. No apple cider flavor.
