Q: will the adapter connect from my kodak fz55 digital camera to my iphone 16??

submitted by dallas - 6 months ago
  • A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about HP EliteDesk 800 G4, Tower Desktop, Intel Core i7-8700, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Windows 11 Pro- Manufacture Refurbished If you would like to attach your Kodak to your iPhone with one cable, you will want one that is "Micro USB to USB-C." Your phone uses a USB-C type connection, but by default the Kodak looks to have a Micro USB. If you connect the cable and the camera has a setting to switch its USB connection mode (usually found in the Connection Settings or General Settings menu) to Mass Storage or PTP, then the iPhone should recognize it as an import source. There is a likely much easier way to do this however. Instead of a cable, you can purchase a USB-C SD Card reader. Then you can just remove the MicroSD card from the camera and plug it into the SD Card reader, then that would plug in to the USB-C on your phone. Next the iPhone's Photos app will automatically open the Import screen, allowing you to quickly transfer the photos. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Q: is this Apple adapter 6.1 one piece or 2 pieces

submitted by Bert - 3 years ago
  • A: Be careful about the 6.1". It is 6.1" from head to tail. It does NOT have a 6.1 cord and the cord is very stiff. It is not very flexible. It's not accessible from the back of an iMac to the front.

  • A: Hi, thank you for reaching out about Apple USB-C to USB Adapter - 6.1in. No, the Apple USB-C to USB Adapter (6.1in) will not work directly with your iPhone 13, as it is designed for devices with USB-C ports, while the iPhone 13 uses a Lightning port. Q: Hello I have a MacBook Pro 2020 and I’m buying a Mabook Neo. This is going to be my new school computer so can this help me with data saving onto a hard drive and thenhelp me transfer it over onto my new computer?

submitted by Data transfer - 1 month ago
  • A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about Apple USB-C to USB Adapter - 6.1in Yes, this adapter is exactly what you need to bridge the gap between "old school" USB devices and your MacBooks. Since both your 2020 MacBook Pro and your new MacBook Neo use USB-C ports, this adapter allows you to plug in standard USB-A hard drives, thumb drives, or even wired mice and keyboards. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Q: Will this allow me to connect my 1st gen pencil to my A16 ipad?

submitted by Jascam - 2 months ago
  • A: Hi, thank you for reaching out about Apple USB-C to USB Adapter - 6.1in. No, the Apple USB-C to USB Adapter (which has a USB-A female port) is not the correct adapter for pairing a 1st gen Pencil to a USB-C iPad. To connect your 1st gen Pencil to an A16 (USB-C) iPad, you specifically need the USB-C to Apple Pencil Adapter (which connects the Lightning end of the pencil to a USB-C cable). If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Q: Will this adapter allow data transfer?

submitted by Bob - 2 months ago
  • A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about Apple USB-C to USB Adapter - 6.1in. Yes, the Apple USB-C to USB Adapter (often listed as 6.1 inches in total length) absolutely allows for data transfer. It is a high-quality "OTG" (On-The-Go) adapter, which means it doesn't just charge—it acts as a bridge for your iPad, iPhone, or Mac to "talk" to standard USB-A devices. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.
