Like Rubber
Bought these in hopes of getting a better alternative to pork sausage. Unfortunately, they were tasteless and was like chewing a rubber band. Very disappointed!

Mouth watering sausage
Why are these so dang good? Like I could eat an entire box in one sitting. Unfortunately they are kind of pricey, so I have to limit myself. In all seriousness, it’s understandable why they are so expensive because they are more healthy than traditional breakfast sausage links. Now my mouth is watering just writing this. I recommend buying 5 boxes if money isn’t an issue. Highly recommend!

What happened?
I used to love these, such a great nutritious and quick breakfast option but now I end up having to spit out over half of it because there are so many fatty pieces. It's disgusting. Super disappointed, I'm not sure what happened.

Our favorite
This is the only sausage our whole family enjoys. It's one of the only protein sources my son will eat. Please keep the chicken and apple sausage forever! We love it!

Best breakfast sausage fyi the other store that carries these sells them for about two dollars more than target so the product is not cheap but target has the best value that I have found so far.
I love these sausages and my daughter does also. I only know of two stores that carry them and they aren't cheap but definitely worth it as a healthier option that still tastes great. I find their chicken and maple is a little too spicy for my daughter though she isn't a fan.

Didn't like
I like applegate's other chicken sausage flavors (sage, maple) but this apple one is awful. The sausage takes like a chicken hot dog. It was very off putting but the next day I gave it another try. Still offputting flavor, I couldn't choke it down. I ended up tossing out. Very disappointed, waste of money.

Quality Has Gone Down, Gristly
I've bought Applegate breakfast sausage for years and years. It's tastes so good. But in the last several months almost every one I eat has bits of bone or gristle that are so disgusting. I'll stop buying it.

I loved these!
I am a fan of chicken apple sausages so when I saw these I had to try them! Love that the brand has breakfast sausage that is already cooked (since most are raw) and it took no time at all to cook up. They were super yummy! Will be buying more in the future.

I want to say that it is a good option for a healthy breakfast. It offers a good flavor and it is a good alternative to pork sausages. Combine them with eggs an hash browns and you will have a delicious breakfast. It has a little sweet flavor but it is good.

I would not say I am a big fan but it makes a breakfast different I was happy with the purchase it goes well with some Belgium waffles and syrup. I would get it again but it's not for everyday breakfast.

Excellent Breakfast Sausage

I tend to lean towards savory breakfast foods (aside from pancakes and waffles), but I decided to try this for it's more health conscious advertising. It was definitely enjoyable, although it does have a hint of sweetness that is noticeable, but not overwhelming. It is a good alternative to my usual savory breakfast meat, and I would recommend it for those who have a salty and sweet preference. Try it out.
