Great new design.
Replaced an old craftsman rivet gun with a new Arrow RT187M. Love the new one handed design plus the no wrench design to switch between rivet sizes is a great upgrade. Love it. Highly recommend this rivet gun.

Decent tool, didn't cut the end of the rivet off
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this tool to add some riveted D-rings to my garbage cans to keep the raccoons out. I did achieve my riveting goal and this is the first time I've ever used rivets or a tool like this, but I'm giving it four stars because I thought it was supposed to cut the end of the rivet off once it engages it. This tool doesn't do that (or didn't for me) and I had to snip each one off with a snips. Also referencing code 1117 to get my free storage caddy with purchase, not sure how that works exactly, but i'd like it.

Very versatile and easy to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a rivet gun for home use. The RT187M is the perfect tool for small to medium jobs around the house and in the garage. I have repaired our household vacuum and done patchwork on my old smoker grill (and believe that I can build a new one with this tool in hand)! The range of rivet sizes and ease of changing the tips makes it a must have for household sheet metal work and auto repair.

Don't purchase. Model RT187M will not pull any siz
I purchased this model RT187M for a home project and first out of the package tried to pull aluminum 3/16 rivet and it would not pull the loaded rivet, so I tried a 1/8 aluminum rivet with the appropriate head and the same results, it would not pull the rivet no matter how many times I tried, it starts to latch on the shank but will not pull any size rivet

Used to replace a latch on toolbox
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to replace a keyed latch on a toolbox attached to my Big Tex flatbed trailer. The old lock was riveted onto the tool box. I purchased this rivet tool to rivet the new lock onto the tool box and it was so easy to use. It worked great.

Fixing stuff for real
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using trust screws to fasten metal to metal and wood to metal. But they fail. It's the thin metal wall. Can't support the threads. But rivets work! And this riveter puts them in easy. Love it.
