Q: Could this be assembled without the wheels? i.e., so that it sits stationary on the floor...?
A: We have ours on the floor without the wheels, which makes it a little shorter than counter level, but it works for us.

Q: What are the top surface dimensions when open and also when the side is folded down?
A: The top surface dimension without the drop leaf 18" x 43" and with drop leaf is 29" x 43"

Q: Could you possibly assemble this cart WITHOUT the side towel holder and spice rack? I do not want these and wonder if they are necessary for structure.
A: They are not necessary for the structure. There will be some holes visible on the sides, but we preferred it without the side accessories.

Q: Does this item have a leaf that folds up to allow for seating on the back side of the unit?
A: Yes it does. Not a huge leaf but good enough to eat a small meal at. I wouldn’t put anything too heavy on the leaf personally.

Q: What is used to keep the drop top up? I have seen many comments stating that is not able to hold much weight. So we are considered about the longevity of the leaf staying up. thank you.
A: The leaf is held up by 2 extendable wooden support bars( when in use).

Q: Has anyone ever used this as a craft project table? Is the the drop leaf part strong enough to hold up to using a Cricut machine, or painting, etc?
A: It is not recommended to place items of weights or of heavy usage on the leaf portion as the leaf does not support too much load. Hope this helps.

Q: What are the exact hinges used on the cart? I need a extra set for the left door and they don't come separated they came screwed to the doors but one is the same on cart and door, and doesn't connect.
A: This is a factory pre-installed item as such the information you requested is not available. May we suggest you dismantle the required hinge from the door and use it to find a matching hinge at your local hardware store. Hope this helps.
