These have a nice shape through waist and hips but there’s a major design flaw—I’m 5’6” and the pants are a good 7” too long. The model in the ad pic must be 6ft tall!

Long overdue review. I am a middle aged woman but I still want to look good. These pants have an awesome style, cut, and fit. I have purchased them at least 12 times. I hope they are never ever discontinued. It’s hard to find nice looking/fitting pants for 30.00.

I love these pants! I'm 5'5" & btwn 129 & 134 lbs. I'm size 6, not curvy, can't stand tight clothes, do not wear heels, hot natured & living in a hot location (N GA). Pros: Extremely comfortable due to stretch & how amazingly cool they stay. So shapely bc of hugging rear & thighs before widening. Thick enough that pantyline either doesn't show or barely shows, depending on my consistency with exercises. Can go dressy or casual. Cons: Would be torturously tight if I didn't size up. The waist needs to be professionally taken in (not uncommon for me). They fall on the floor with shoes as high as athletic shoes. I need to wash them in a garment bag bc they collect more lint than any other pants. This is not a problem bc they also don't really wrinkle. Note: Usually, sizing up doesn't work for me bc they are baggy places other than just the waist (crotch, bottom half of butt...)

Please bring these back in medium and small. They are phenomenal!!

Bought these as a less expensive option to Spanx. Didn't work out. The waist band is too minimal so instead of holding your tummy in they just pinch. Also the fabric picks up every little bit of lint or animal hair. Cheaper than Spanx but not worth it.

They fit! They fit! 5” 7’ size 8 and the medium is perfect

Fit TTS, but very fitting. Washed nicely, hang to dry. Length perfect for 5'9" (size L). Certainly a better value than the authentic SPANX. Hey, they're just black pants. What's the need to spend 5x more? If these wear out, I'll just buy another pair.

Don’t hesitate… these pants are awesome! So glad I read the reviews and went for it… very comfortable and literally you can dress up or down. I ordered the XlL and I’m a size 14. 5’1 and I wear them with heels.

I’m 5’2” and got an XL. Way too long even if u pull up all the way to my belly button.

Love these - perfect fit and very versatile - also a very nice weight to them that provides coverage but no bulk. My new ‘go to’ pants for working out, running errands, etc. glad I scooped up 2 pairs!

I bought 2 pair for an Alaska cruise to wear for just hanging out in my cabin but wow, you dress them up for dinner they are so nice. I am a denim jeans kind of chick but I ended up wearing them the whole trip. I am a petit plus size 1x on top, and size L with my 40" waist. They machine wash/dry very well too. I am thrilled that finally something exceeded my expectations.

These flare stretch pants were so comfortable that I ended up wearing them multiple times a week. They were tight fitting but loved how they flared at the bottom. I was able to wear them to work which 9 hrs on my feet annd at times it gets hot at work. I didnt sweat like I usally do it get me cool and the material didnt stick to me when pulling them up or down.

I am 5'9" and about 150lbs and I didn't love these. They felt really tight in the tummy area and not the good kind of snug. I had rolls when I pulled them on. I have a medium, but I think I would have to go up to a large. I think I would need it on the length as well. They aren't bad pants, but definitely not appropriate for work for me and I'd have to wear something a little loose to cover up the bulge on them. Not bad, but I would suggest sizing up in these.

I love wearing yoga pants because they are always so comfortable- but unfortunately they are not always appropriate for every event. I have been on the hunt for a good hybrid pant (one that makes me feel like I am still in yoga pants but I look polished). These Spanx ponte shaping pants are the perfect combination of comfort and professional. I love that I can dress these up for work or down for running errands and out and about with the kids. They fit snug on my booty but in the best most flattering way. I wear a 4/6 and the small fits just right. The waist band never rolls when I sit like similarly structured pants do. They are flattering and keep me all tucked in all the right places without too much constriction. These are all day comfortable! I love the shape cut of the leg but they are honestly more of a true bootcut than flare. I think my favorite thing about these pants is that I can throw them in my suitcase without worrying about them getting wrinkled when I travel. They are easy to wash and don’t need to be dry cleaned so that’s a win for this busy mom. I prefer to lay them out so they feel a bit “crisper”- but you can also tumble dry them on a low setting. I highly recommend getting a pair (or even two) as you will quickly add them to your most worn rotation! Definitely a keeper for me. I will mostly likely purchase another so I have one to grab when the other is in the wash!

Honestly, I’m not a fan of how these pants fit my body. I tend to be on the curvier side of a fit (small waist, wide hips, thinner legs). I got a size medium, and they pull up on my waist to the point where I get creasing at the hips. I know they are shapewear pants, but they are too tight in the waist and loose in the hips and thighs, giving me shaping in the wrong places. That said, a body of a different shape may find a better fit. The material is good quality- but light- and feels nice to wear.

Overall, these pants fit pretty well and I would say TTS. I am 5’8 and they were too short for me. I also wish the material would be a little bit thicker as I found this material felt similar to work out material to me.

I wanted to love these, but I didn't. They weren't soft like I would have thought; the waistband did a nice job of making me feel nice and tight, however, it did not stay put - it rolled down after some movement; and the length of the pants was too long (my inseam is about 30"). I buy pants in both small and medium, 4 and 6; I got a small in these pants.

They are pretty comfy but I don’t really like the material because everything sticks to them. They already look old for only wearing one time.

I was excited to get these after reading all of the reviews and how most everyone said these were "too long". I always have trouble finding pants that are long enough, so I thought these would be perfect for me. I am only 5'7.5", but have long legs. Sadly, the pair I received were too short and I had to return them. Otherwise I would've kept and probably liked them as the quality seemed ok.
