Q: I’m assuming for the price these are glass, not engineered glass (Techglass, , Ridel, etc. ) correct? Do they have a thicker edge around the lip? Thanks

They’re probably fine but don’t buy them online. The shipping department is incompetent and didn’t put a single piece of packing paper in my order. Shards of glass are all over the inside of the box and all the items were just thrown in a too large box. Buy them from the store if you don’t want them to arrive broken.

Great quality! Just got my first apartment and these are great quality for my needs. One arrived broken, but since it's just me i'll be fine with 5 lol. I've been using them and dishwashing regularly for almost a year now and they still look good as new! I've also dropped one occasionally and so far no shatter

I liked that it was so affordable and the perfect size for me. However, when I brought it home I noticed a couple of dents and scratches on the glass. Not a big deal but just something to be aware of. Make sure to wrap it in something when you're transporting it home. Overall a solid purchase and I would recommend it and repurchase it since it serves it's purpose. Just be aware of the light quality.

The first box I bought had 2 glasses with unacceptable defects. In the second box, every glass had a minor but noticeable irregularity around the rim. I kept them because I just wanted cheap glasses for daily use, and they're okay for that.
