I needed more range on my home network and something that would work with AX-5400. Upon receiving the AX6000, I connected it and immediately noticed speed tests showing my full gig download speed. Next step was to connect the 5400 as a node in the mesh which the app managed well once I worked out getting it to its factory default setting. I now get at least 300 mbps download throughout the house and beyond which had been a major improvement. The ability to monitor the full mesh through the app is just icing on the cake for these devices.

This router is amazing hands down. I bought an Amplifi Alien router less than a year ago which was double the price and it has been nothing but problems and was severely limiting my internet speeds so I purchased this router and the difference in overall performance is astounding. I highly recommend it to anyone looking if you can find one.

Nicely capable device, 2.5Gb WAN and 2.5Gb LAN and aimesh were it's biggest selling points for me. It desperately needs SNMP support. I know it's marketed to gamers but it's aesthetic is pretty gaudy.

A big plus of the GT-AX6000 is the dual 2.5Gbe ports for WAN and LAN. There are many devices with WAN 2.5Gbe and LAN 1Gbe but few with both 2.5Gbe. I initially purchased for home but gave to my son (a Gamer) because of the design. Looking for similarly priced mesh devices with a design more suitable for home or office decor. Wall, ceiling, or table mount.

Very impressed with my new Rapture GT-AX6000 router! I've always bought Netgear routers, but after installation and setup, I doubt I'll buy anything other than ASUS.
