- TUF Gaming VG27AQ features WQHD (2560 x 1440) panel that delivers up to 77% more onscreen desktop space than standard Full HD (1920 x 1080) displays. IPS technology gives you superior images with outstanding colors thanks to 99% sRGB colour gamut and an astounding 1,000:1 contrast ratio. This ultrafast refresh rate lets you play at the highest visual settings and lets you react instantly to what's onscreen - so you'll get that first strike in.
- With ELMB SYNC, you can enable ELMB (low-motion-blur technology) and G-SYNC Compatible at the same time, eliminating ghosting and tearing for sharp visuals and high frame rates while gaming.
- Now you can choose from multiple HDR modes to adjust monitor HDR performance based on the current viewing scenario
- ASUS Shadow Boost technology clarifies dark areas of the game without overexposing brighter areas, improving overall viewing while also making it easier to spot enemies hidden in dark areas of the map.

This is the first gaming monitor that I've ever owed and it's absolutely amazing. It's really big, has an amazing display, it can be raised and tilted so you're always comfortable using it in any position. It's a great wide screen resolution, 2K graphics look great, and it still looks amazing with DLSS 3 upscaling technology. I bought one for me and my boyfriend at the same time and we both love it so much. It's one of the best purchases I've ever made. I use my gaming laptop to hook up to it with a Thunderbolt 4 cable and it plugs and plays so easily. I could go on and on about how much I love this gaming monitor but I'll stop. It's amazing, A++ would recommend and buy again.
Great as a single monitor, not as a dual monitor

I hate that I have to use DisplayLink to use both of my monitors at the same time for computer use. And it's disappointing that they both can't stay at 120+ hz. As a single monitor, it works great and the 2k resolution with ~140 hz looks great.

Dear Redpanda, We do understand your disappointment with the product and the inconvenience this may have caused if you need to use DisplayLink to used both monitors. You don't need to use a DisplayLink to setup dual monitor using two identical model. You can connect the first monitor to a DisplayPort and the other monitor to the HDMI port if the PC has multiple monitor ports. The refresh rate will stay at 120+Hz on both monitors, as long as the GPU on the PC meets the system requirements of the monitor. If it does meet requirements, please check if the PC is running with the most current graphics driver. Should you need further assistance with the monitor, please email me at cl-rodel@asus.com and I would be more than happy to help. Or, you are most welcome to call Product Support Hotline at: 1(888) 678-3688. Also, you can chat with an ASUS live support agent from the link: https://www.asus.com/us/support/article/1135/. Thank you for choosing an ASUS product. Regards, Rodel ASUS Customer Loyalty

Clean and sharp picture. Not bad for the money. I did have a frozen pixel (red) in the middle of the screen that would not go away. I powered off for a while and that fixed it. The speakers have no base so they sound tinny. Maybe it’s my setup. Overall I’m satisfied with the monitor.

Crisp, clear screen. Beautiful display. Watching football on my 65" TV at the same time as watching another game streaming on this monitor. The monitor actually looked better than the TV. No lag when gaming. Everything you could ask for.
High end viewing on a budget bank account

Wow what nice monitor. I upgraded from an LG 22" and boy is the difference in size a nice improvement. Attaching the stand was very simple with just 4 Phillips screws for the back plate and a single Phillips thumb screw for the base. Swivel, tilt, rotation and height adjustment all feel silky smooth. The menu buttons are easy to reach and are even labeled with intuitive icons. To know how to navigate the menu requires you download the user manual from the Asus site. Setting it up to work with my MSI RTX 3060 Ventus 2x gpu's G-Sync was a breeze with this monitors "Adaptive Sync" feature. The included Display Port cable came in very handy. You need to use the Display Port cable if you want to use Adaptive Sync as well as run at the higher refresh rates this display offers. The adjustable blue levels are great for low light viewing. It has several pre-configured profiles for different viewing scenarios such as racing games, FPS's, MOBA's, watching movies or reading web pages plus more. There are several adjustmentsfor things like brightness, gama, contrast and color. The monitors ELMB (Extreme Low Motion Blur) is very good. I didn't have any issues playing Need For Speed, Warzone, Diablo 4. They say IPS panels don't have as much black background as VA monitors but honestly this one has no problems with that. The built in speakers are definitely small and not the greatest sounding but they're helpful if you don't have anything else. Overall I'm quite happy with this monitor. It gives a high end viewing experience on a budget bank account.
A solid monitor with one major flaw

It's a good monitor that performs as expected. My only complaint is the auto input switching. I have three devices connected to this monitor (two through HDMI and one DisplayPort). If I'm rebooting something, the monitor will automatically switch to the next live input. Wildly frustrating if your troubleshooting something - and sadly, you cannot disable this "feature". It's a solid monitor, but only use if you have only one input source.

I was coming from a 1080p 60hz, so this was a massive jump, but I really like it. Great view angles, noticeably reduced tearing in games where it was really bad before like AC origins.
