Over 15 years ago my Husband bought me my first Asus for the gaming propertys. I called it my "Hot-Rod" because it had dual Exhaust! That same machine is still working perfectly and I keep it at our vacation home. I still love it. SInce than I have bought 4-6 laptops, some as gifts and two for me. I just don't bother with any other brand because I get everything I need from Asus. I love you Guys!!

Bundled with a docking station that shows multi-monitor but the USB-C 3.1 Gen1 output on the laptop does not have the power to do a second monitor. Moreover, the station is required to use Ethernet but the throughput speed takes us back to less than 10/10 networking. I have long been an ASUS fanboy but I have returned this unit because it in no way met the description or my needs.

Internet speed id slow verses older Desktop running windows 10, and ann adroid phone. Using wifi on all units side by side, win10 =80-90 mips, android 40-50 mips asus = 13-15 mips. Not what would expect for this machine. That is bare minimum for most internet scanning.

I haven’t had my ASUS 17” laptop very long so I can’t evaluate it on a lot of criteria but my impressions so far are all very positive. The size is great, the design is excellent, set-up was done online and it was a very efficient, comprehensive and easy process. Battery life (although without a lot of usage up to this point) seems to be real good. I’m very happy with this laptop purchase.

This is very much what I was looking for - not a top-end machine, but a useful tool that suits what I need it for. The availability of the Windows Subsystem for Linux with Windows 11 works well for me and there is plenty of disk space to install two working systems. I haven't had a chance yet to see how long the battery lasts on its own, but I'm delighted with the quality of the screen, despite the lightweight design. I tend to prefer using a full-size keyboard but the onboard keyboard is fine for light use. I haven't fully tested the sound or camera, but I only intend to use it for occasional online meetings and it's perfectly food for that. The keyboard itself is American rather than British and the power plug was also American (with no adapter supplied for the UK). Fortunately, I already had a suitable power adapter and the keyboard can be set up for 'international' use which is fine. Overall, I think this is product is good value for money.

You will experience slow system restart or reboot after the initial WINDOWS setup and while installing all cumulative and featured WINDOWS Update. This may take a longer time depending on the network traffic from the updated server and the stability of your high-speed internet service. Also, the laptop will do several system reboots, black screen temporarily or restart during the update process. Once the initial setup and WINDOWS Update installation are completed, system speed or performance will be optimized. Keeping the laptop updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance. Additionally, while accessing web applications, ensure this laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since poor and unstable internet connection will definitely affect system speed and performance.
