Asymmetrical Berry Pine Christmas Garland - Threshold™

Does not look like picture and the beautiful red that’s in the picture is not on the product. It’s an ugly brown..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this garland for the holiday season coming up. I actually thought it was a wall hang, but it seems more of a long garland to me. It does have two circle hooks on the back. It’s a thick branch with greenery and fake berries. The berries seemed cheap and fell off easily. I tried to open it up and it just stayed bent in half how it was in the package. I wasn’t really sure what to do with it, it didn’t sit well on my fireplace. Not a fan.

On the positive side, the quality is excellent: the faux pine and berries look pretty realistic, and the garland base is very sturdy. It certainly doesn't feel cheap. However, two elements were disappointing. The attached red bow looks flimsy and cheap, detracting from the high-quality appearance. Additionally, the branches are so stiff that shaping or adjusting the garland to fit a space is unexpectedly difficult. It's a durable piece, but it lacks flexibility and finesse.

I assumed this would be a piece you could hang up, but after unboxing I then saw that this was more just a garland (rather than what the first photo on the listing shows). I had the perfect place for this item and I’m tickled it worked out so well. I love the thin but long red velvet bow as it creates such a statement. I styled this on my entry way table since it’s too short to cover a full mantle. Overall the quality is great. My kids however have quickly decided to play with the berries and they are painted styrofoam. I had a piece of the pine that fell off, but it looks like it can be pushed back in, so overall I’m happy with the quality and price. I received an incentive to write this review.
