Book Synopsis
The quality of coffee has never been higher--and neither has the interest it sparks. Coffee consumers have it easier than ever, especially if they understand the origin and qualities of the product they are drinking. The place of cultivation, how it is harvested and roasted, and even the water used to brew it are just some of the elements that influence the flavor of this beverage. Coffee expert James Hoffmann analyzes these and other factors: he explores different varieties, the impact of terroir, harvesting methods, processing, roasting, and brewing techniques. In a country-by-country journey, from Bolivia to Zambia, he identifies the key characteristics of each coffee-growing region and offers practical tips for brewing spectacular coffee at home, no matter the type. An essential book for anyone who wants to learn more about this drink and its endless possibilities, as well as to enjoy the best coffee possible.About the Author
