Avery Printable Tickets with Tear-Away Stubs, 1.75" x 5.5", Matte White, 200 Blank Tickets for Laser and Inkjet Printers (16154)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to create a two-piece ticket for a raffle at church. I went straight away to Avery to see what options were available. The one I chose was perfect. It allowed me to print both parts as well as additional information on the back. They printed out beautifully and separated without any problems. The bottom portion that was held the purchaser's name also tore off neatly. I will definitely purchase this product again.

I bought these to create raffle tickets for a non-profit fund-raiser. The #1 complaint I received from buyers of the raffle tickets ... the stub is much too small (for what they have to write on it). In my state, to have a raffle, the state has rules about what MUST be on the stub and what MUST be on the part of the ticket that is kept by the purchaser of the ticket. This creates space problems on the short side of the ticket. The main problem is that the short part of the ticket is only 2" wide but the buyers must write their full name, mailing address, and phone number on that stub (it's not my option -- it's state law). The larger part that the buyer keeps is required to have even more info ... the name of the raffle, the date and location of the drawing, the name of the organization conducting the raffle, the license/permit number, and at least the grand prize information. Each ticket needs a matching serial number on both sides. We can't skip any of that ... it's required to be legal. I wish Avery made a version of these with more space on the short part than the 2" width. I also looked at Avery #16430 which have just 4 tickets per sheet. While each ticket is much larger ... the short part is (to my surprise) STILL only 2" wide.

I have used the tickets with tear away stubs several times and its much less expensive than getting the tickets printed. If you have any problems, there is online support and you can call them. Results are professional quality.

I use Avery for all my flyer, marketing, invitation and event needs. I love their easy to use design-your-own templates. They are so versatile and you can add your own images. I always get complimented on every ticket, Invitation, flyer and business card that I make using Avery products.

I've used Avery tickets before specifically the ones that were numbered a few years ago, and last year was the first time I used this updated version without numbers. This year I was very disappointed because it seems that paper is much more flimsy than last year. Using the same printer I used last year the tickets keep hanging up in the printer whither I use a side load or top load option and I'm unable to print.

I actually ran out of ink printing out test sheets after each realignment and readjustment. The end product was beautiful, but took hours of nitpicky work and half a cartridge of black ink.

I see that the box reads, 1¾" by 5½"; however, when I pull my ruler out and look at it, I see that it is shorter than 1¾". And when I place my tickets on a blank page at the stated size, they will not fit correctly either. This was an unfortunate realization after I paid for the product. Major fail on Epson's part.

I would like to pay a little more and get raffle tickets on the same material as the laser business cards. They would look a lot better and would also be a lot easier to separate after printing. I haven't found a better product but that's no excuse for offering only a second rate one when you can obviously offer a better one also. I hesitate to recommend this product but it's all that there is.

I have spent two days trying to get tickets to print. Called office four times, were helpful but still cannot get them to print Was using Sure Tickets before and they were so easy. Tried to do it with another coworker to no avail. Need a more detailed video

Love these raffle tickets. We do at least 2 or 3 raffles per year and have been using them for quite some time now. They print well, tear off stub works great and to sum it up "They Simply Work Great!"

This review is for 16154 tickets. I started with the Word Template. It is not very useful because you have to manually program the serial numbers etc. Then I tried the online option to create the labels. It did everything I expected the Word template to do. I was able to upload a list of barcode values from my excel file, it converted it to barcode. Added a background image with less than 100% opacity. Plenty of text options. The serial option worked well too. I designed and downloaded 2,000 tickets (200 pages) for my event in about an hour!

easy to create ticket. Difficult to number tickets.

Easy ticket was a different size which made it hard to get them to print right using Avery wizard - Had to use publisher and set up each ticket to it's accurate size. Would also help if they had arrows indicating which way to put the sheets into the printer to get everything to line up properly - Avery made a good sale on this one as we had to buy an extra 3 packages to make up for all the errors - Noat as easy as indicated by the sales rep.

A few test sheets would be great to align the printer before using the actual product. I had to waste a few sheets because the edges of my text got cut off on the outside tickets. Alignment guides in the software would also be nice.

These tickets are great because they come with the online tools that easily allow you to customize them for your project. My favorite feature is the ability to edit both the front and back and the addition of sequential numbers so that you can easily number each ticket. The tickets are easy to separate and don't require any additional cutting. The ticket size is also a major plus. The larger part of the ticket allows for the printing of contest rules, limitations, information, etc. A great tool for any raffle or fundraising activity!
