As a professional instructional designer, Lauren Lee strongly believes in education through fun. She was disappointed in how few fun, yet educational and accurate, books there are out there for new reptile owners. Bearded dragons make fantastic pets, and through writing B Is for BEARDIE!, Lauren wants to give both new and prospective beardie owners the confidence and knowledge to provide top notch care for these amazing reptiles.
Lauren lives with her two daughters in Northern Colorado. They share their home with several dogs and several reptiles. Their first reptile was their bearded dragon Little Man, who inspired this book.
