baggallini Women's Calais Crossbody Bag

I am really really happy with my purchase. This bag has room for everything I need to carry without looking over stuffed or sloppy.

My daughter gave me one Christmas 5 years ago. I still carry I Love this crossbody !!! Very good to stay organized and protected!!! I’m going to order one myself soon.

This is my third Baggallini purchase. I've been using this bag for a week now and so far I love it. It's not too big and not too small, it's just right for what I need. The swivel strap is great, works as a shoulder bag at its shortest and offers ample length to adjust as needed when used as a crossbody bag. I love blues and purples. I love the French Navy!

This is the best handbag I ever purchased!! They thought of everything! It's lightweight and the built in wallet is very convenient!! A place for your phone and another for your keys!!

I must have looked at 50 different bags before choosing this bag: it’s small(ish), has RFDI protection, there are plenty of internal pockets and zippers, and it provides a convenient and deep outer phone pocket with a magnet closure. The gold hardware gives the black fabric an elegant look.

I bought the Navy color. Love all the zippers & pockets for everything. They do need to add a little bit of velcro to secure the hidden little slit pocket at top of bag. A really nice purse.

I am able to find everything I need without having to search because it is so organized. It is not too heavy and just looks nice. I got the navy color and I love that it is a true navy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been using a bag very similar to this one (also a baggallini purse) but it lacked two wonderful features that the Calais bag has: the extra zip pocket, full size, on the front, and the zip coin pouch in the front organizer section. It really does keep things in place and easy to access quickly. The one possible weak link is the width of the bottom. (That's why I described it as "very nearly perfect." If I could change one thing in the design, it would be to add one more inch or so to the main section of the bag. Then I could describe it as "absolutely perfect." I'm in my seventies and have been carrying Baggallini bags for decades, but at my age, I'm still on a quest for the ultimate bag that meets my every need. Please bring an end to my quest with just one more inch.

I received this bag as a gift. I am a bag-a-holic. I know bags! This was used during my month long trip to Sicily, Greece and Turkey. It provides a secure place for all of your travel documents and secure pockets for cash and credit cards. The RFID pockets were great and I felt protected against scanning thieves. The main compartment held all of my other niff-naw, glasses, etc. when I got back home I threw it in the washer and hung it to dry. This is quite frankly the perfect cross body. I love it!

It is not large; however, it is big enough for all my essentials and my huge sunglasses too. I especially like the billfold section because all the credit card slots are large enough to hold my credit cards. Others do not have large enough slots for my cards. I love the blue color. It is a great addition to my daily routine!!

This bag holds a lot more than I expected. Blue is a beautiful shade that goes with most everything. May have to get it in another color, too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Calais, this time its the french navy which I find elegant and youthful. I love the color and how it fits everything I wear. My first was in blush shimmer and I gave it away, somehow the blush and the shimmer and myself did not fit together. But mainly I'd like to say here how perfect the Calais is... It has a true purse in the front pocket that house everything one needs- credit cards- id cards- business cards and two zip pockets for paper money and for change, and it is truely wonderful!!! everything has a place. The only thing I would add here to make it perfect is a see-though ID sling/pocket or even two! Please...The main compartment is well organized, and with enough depth to it that makes it super user friendly. I love the key chain, lipstick holder; and could see the benefit of adding one or two designated slots for pens, somewhere... The secret phone pocket is brilliant! well done Baggalini!!! one last request is to add some padding to the straps since the bag when full could be pretty heavy and make them with material that is less sleek :)

I really like this bag. It is a bit on the small side, which isn't necessarily bad since it prevents me from lugging around a lot stuff I don't need, and kind of heavy considering the size, but it's still a useful little bag and because it has, essentially, a built-in wallet, you don't need to carry around a bulky/heavy wallet in addition. The security features make it ideal for both city life and travel. My only real criticisms ate that the strap looks, proportionately, a little thin and I wish it were made of a sturdier material/weave -- something more resistant to being cut by a purse snatcher.

I bought this for myself for Christmas and just love it. I showed it to my sister and she bought one for herself.

My 3rd Calais Crossbody Bag.....best purse ever! Very comfortable, lightweight and holds a lot.

I bought this bag is the funky brown snake print. Hated the print, but loved the bag. I am trying to return the snake print one but haven't heard back from baggallini. I sent it back over a month ago. I went ahead and purchased the bag in dark blue. A small swell water bottle will fit in the main compartment. Plenty of room for sunglasses, cell phone and wallet. I like a smaller purse and this one is perfect.
