Q: Is a serving size on the nutrition label dry or cooked pasta?
A: Thanks for reaching out and for your interest in Banza! Happy to help here! 2 ounces of our rotini (measured dry) yields about 1/2 cup, whereas 2 ounces of our rigatoni (measured dry) yields about 1 cup. When you cook Banza, it almost doubles in size and weight, taking on the water it’s boiled in. That said, the nutritional content still reflects that of the dry pasta you measured before cooking. While the ounces-to-cups conversion varies by pasta shape, generally, a 2 oz serving expands to roughly one cup once cooked. Pasta la vista, Team Banza

Q: Why does the front of the box say 20g of protein then the nutrition label on the back says 14g per serving? What happened to the other 6g? This makes me question this brand and the ingredients
A: Thank you for reaching out. The front calls out *per 3.5 oz serving. It is 14g of protein per 2 oz serving and 20g of protein for a 3.5 oz serving. Both serving sizes should be noted on the back of the box.
