[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loved the posable arms and legs. She liked the smaller size, the sparkily outfit and her short haircut. She fit easily in the barbie car and barbie house. The only thing i would change is to add more accessories.

It also came with a stand as if it is for display purposes and not play purposes. Her clothes remind me of the 90s and not of something that is in style in today’s world.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my daughters first Barbie Looks Doll and it will certainly not be her last. My daughter had been wanting a Barbie with short hair to add to her collection and was thrilled with Looks Doll #22. The doll features short hair, a cute outfit and is shorter in stature to other Barbie’s adding variety to her collection of dolls. This doll has multiple points of articulation making her very easy to pose and place around her Barbie house. My daughter enjoyed that the doll could “curl up” in a chair in a realistic way! While it’s nice that the doll is petite (shorter with a smaller bust) it would be great if that was indicated on the dolls packaging. Since the doll is smaller regular size Barbie clothing will be too big on her. My daughter is ok with this but other people might not like that. We were also impressed with the doll’s packaging. The box is sleek with a large window so you can clearly see the doll. The best part of the packing though is how the doll is attached to the package. There’s no annoying plastic piercing the dolls outfit leaving holes in the dolls clothing. There were some attaching the dolls head to the packaging - so the packing is not perfect but it was a vast improvement. Overall, my daughter found the doll very pretty, with unique hair and found her fun to play with.

She is rocking a very nice pixie cut and has a good makeup application. The Barbie is very possible and even comes with its own stand to make the possible poses almost endless!! And lastly this Barbie comes with her own certificate!! My daughter really enjoys playing with this doll and loves that she has short hair just like my daughter.

However after the initial excitement of a new Barbie doll, the feeling wore off pretty quickly. Kids loved the short hair since they all have short hair as well. The dolls pretty plain. The outfit is one piece and one color. The best thing was the stand it came with. The kids are putting other Barbie dolls dressed up on it. Calling it a fashion show. Con is from the packaging. While taking the doll out there were four plastic toes in her head attached to the plastic when I snipped them off and tried pulling on the ends it’s embedded in the head. I clipped it as close to the scalp as possible but you can still feel the plastic.

The articulated limbs allow for creative play that is more realistic than the wobbly legged and stationary straight armed dolls I played with in the 90’s. My daughter is now of the age where her Barbie collection provides for hours of imaginative play and this doll was a welcome addition. The stand is a nice touch not only for collectors, but also to pose the doll in creative ways when playtime is done. I cannot wait to find more from this series in stores to expand our community of play.

My daughter was immediately excited with her “magical Barbie.” She promptly opened the package and began playing with the Barbie. The articulated joints were very interesting to my 3.5 year old and provided the perfect opportunity for engaging and meaningful play. She enjoyed posing the doll in various poses and then recreating those poses herself. In the summer we are on the go constantly with playdates, lunches in the park and other activities. As most children do my daughter loves to bring toys along for the ride. This Barbie is perfect for our busy outings. She has minimal accessories to account for and keep track of- a one piece jumpsuit and secure fitting shoes. So no fear of losing small pieces and tearing the car up looking for them. I had my reservations upon selecting this doll for review, because of her minimal esthetics. Fearing she would be “boring” compared to our numerous other Barbies with predetermined themes. I have been pleasantly surprised with the hours of enjoyment this doll has provided for my daughter. I would definitely recommend this doll for those who want a Barbie doll with minimal accessories and endless opportunities for fun.

The posable body is unlike any other Barbie. One of the most exciting features was the posable feet, so Barbie doesnt always need to wear heals. We had so much fun posing and have her model different fashion looks.

My daughter loves that she can move her into realistic poses and make her dance. She loves her beautiful outfit. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really love this Barbie Looks Doll. My daughter's favorite thing is that it can move so well. She is so excited the doll can articulate well enough to do gymnastics (just like her). She liked the outfit and how shiny it was. The only thing my daughter did not like was the texture, style and color of the hair, she said it was tough to do anything with, in terms of styling when she plays pretend. Overall though, I think this is a great doll, I love the movement of it too and wish I had had something so cool when I was younger. She also loved that the doll came with a stand to be able to display and the fancy certificate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly think I'm missing the boat on this. My3.6 y/o was so excited she was going to have her own barbie to play with until I tried to open it. By the time time i got it out of the excessive packaging she had lost all interest. It sat around for a few days before she was reinterested and that didnt last long either. The hair is very crunchy, and she was unable to easily redress her. The outfit she came did not alow for the joints to bend. Many outfits dont seem to fit right. She asked to trade heads with another barbie just so she could brush her hair. It just wasnt a winner for us.

I think the hair cut could be a little bit more kid identifiable and not so mature looking-I mean we are talking for a 5 year old to play with. Other wise she loved it!
