Barbie Pop Reveal Fruit Series Grape Fizz Doll, 8 Surprises Include Pet, Slime, Scent & Color Change

My oldest bought this for my youngest super cute just messy with the slime but fun for kids!

We bought this product yesterday and are very disappointed. While trying to open the package, my grandniece cut her finger on the sharp edge of the plastic strip over the top of the package. When wet with icy water, the facial mark did not show. The slime is also very watery and sticks all over. I’m not sure if we can get a refund from the store we bought it from as the we have opened the package already.

1) The doll itself is poor quality compared to other regular barbie dolls. The hair is awful. As well as not in the picture, it showed glitter hair but it's not. 2) There was only 5, not 8, surprises & they were extremely poor quality with little to no purpose. Basically garbage. 3) The slime was extremely liquidy & messy, sticks to everything leaves a mess on your hands which I've not ever experienced with other better quality slimes. 4) Paid $20 for this in store, yet online it's $11.99 DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Please read this review and take it as a warning to NOT BUY THIS. My daughter asked for this for her 6th birthday. I didn’t look into what kind of toy this was- she loves Barbies and slime, this seemed right up her alley. WHAT A STUPID “toy”. It makes no sense. Everything comes in a giant tumbler type cup. The Barbie comes folded up in a plastic packet, along with other little random Barbie things in other packets. The instructions have no words, only illustrations to follow along. But the entire concept of how to “use” it and what it does has zero purpose. You put a couple of the random objects (are they supposed to be ice cubes??) in the cup, then stab the top with the straw- the top is where the slime is sealed, and stabbing it releases the slime down the cup onto the “ice cubes”. Then…..what?! The cup is too deep to play with the slime in any kind of way. The slime itself is way too watery to actually play with- all it did was make an absolute mess. There’s supposed to be some “color change” effect happening with the Barbie- it’s a tiny ratio on her face. But where does the Barbie come into play? She’s not incorporated into the slime action at all. She and the couple random accessories are a totally separate part of what this “toy” says it’s about. And when it’s all said and done, when you wash the crappy slime off the objects and the cup, the cup isn’t even useable- the straw is only long enough to stab the the slime through the top, it doesn’t function in the cup as a straw. It was on clearance at Target from $20 to about $14. I feel absolutely cheated out of $14. My daughter was completely underwhelmed and was expecting something totally different. Do not recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lots of surprises, like a selection of mystery goodies as you take 8 items out. A doll who comes with lots of accessories. My daughter loves the slime that comes with it as it's fab to play with. The hair can change colour too which is amazing. Simply dip in hot or cold water. There is an ice cube to pop stuff in too.. so much fun with this doll.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter like most 7 year olds is obsessed with blind bags and mystery box openings so bravo to Barbie for moving with the times and bringing this excitement to a doll that's lasted for more generations than Madonna. The packaging appears as a large cup with a liquid filled top (this is in fact slime so again major points from the child/ Mama's not such a big fan) inside the cup are 2 ice cube fashioned storage boxes and 3 blind bags, in these you will find your Barbie and her accessories. Barbie has hinged legs and arms, a feature I've never seen before so the doll is more posable than ever before. Cup can be used for storage after or if your clever enough not to put the slime in it, makes a pretty drinking cup. A 10/10 score from us.

This Barbie is gorgeous, I love how there is more to it than ‘just’ the Barbie itself, there are plenty of surprises with this one, within this one product there are 8 ‘surprises’ to unpack containing; slime, colour changing aspects, accessories, a pet and the to top it off; the scent! It’s a lovely grape scent; it’s not too overpowering, too sweet or sickly (which was a worry of mine!!) and in general, just adds to the overall experience which is a lovely touch to it all. Within this series of Barbie’s, there are four to collect! I went for this one as the colours were so inviting and I was intrigued by the grape scent! I love the packaging also; it’s bright, inviting and fun from the get go! In terms of price point, if this were to be purchased, I do think it’s worth it as there’s more to it than just the Barbie. You’re also paying for the experience of it all! It’s fab.

She loved everything she got in it and filled the cup with water. This is definitely worth it for what you get. Best present for Barbie lovers.

She had a lot of fun with the interactive element of stabbing the lid with the straw to release the purple, grape-smelling slime into the cup. She liked digging the bags out and finding out what she’d got in each one. Conclusively, I found this to be a really high-quality toy.

The product stands out in purple colours and shades especially the round slimy ball on top of it. It comes with a straw with you use to pop the lid on the cup so the slime comes out. You get small items wrapped in plastic bags to open up and to see which figure you get and some suprises to go with it too. The hair colour changes too and face, you also get as a extra 2 ice cubes with some little accessories in it too. It was a amazing product for my daughter to have and use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a value product and you get lots for the price. There were a few hit and misses with this product. To start off, this was played by children aged 3 and 5, supervised. It comes in a large bottle with a fake straw that is used to pierce through the slime. Although the concept is fun for play, they could have been with a real straw which would make the bottle reusable. This is a big miss with this product and could have taken this to another level. It comes with roller blade shoes, a pair of shorts, a pet, a small drink, a scented fruit, slime, pretend ice cube which is also a storage for the smaller toys along with the barbie and the actual packaging bottle. The pet is nicely scented but it’s not too strong. My kids loved playing with it and it kept them busy for quite a while. The diversity range in this is also a big plus. This came with a purple slime and grape scent. Another thing that I didn’t like much with the barbie doll itself is that it doesnt sit. The knees bend backwards. It came this way for storage but it gets a bit awkward when playing. Same goes for the feet which can fully rotate. When the kids tried to make the barbie stand the knees bent backward and feet twisted. As for the colour changing aspect, again, this was another miss for me. It was difficult to change colours. I had to run the barbie under running water to change colours, so not sure how kids could easily change it. The hair had to be fully soaked for the colour to be changed. Then it needed to be dried otherwise it is dripping water. When I used a hair dryer to dry the hair and it turned back into original colours. I don’t think I’ll let my kids use this function of the barbie much. It is too much of a hassle. The slime is the best part of the toy. It is high quality and contributes to hours of fun. It comes with a packaging to seal the slime in. Kids had a lot of fun with it. It is a great toy and can let the kids imagination run wild. There are some misses but as itself is a lot of fun. I received this as a complimentary sample in exchange for my honest review.

The package contains a doll, roller skates, a bottle, a doll wheel, an animal and a glue to mix. Great fun for the child. The doll is very pretty. all the details are beautifully made. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cup is super cute and can be used as a cup with open top for a straw. It can also be used to put all the Barbie items from the package in one place. We got the grape themed Barbie. It came with purple glitter slime, two mystery packages and two items in plastic ice cube containers. The mystery items were a small puppy with a grape ring and shorts for the barbie. In the ice cube were a pair of skates and a cup for Barbie. The directions are kind of confusing. The cup comes with a short "straw"; it's decorative plastic with no hole through and has a semi sharp end that you are supposed to use to poke the top of the cup that has the slime in it. The slime is supposed to cover the "ice cubes" so you can reveal the surprise, but you have to take everything out before hand, so not really a surprise(?!) The Barbie does change hair color when put in hot or cold water, which my daughter thoroughly enjoyed. The Barbie also has a visible sticker on its face in warm water.
