Q: Will the corners work with an iron frame (no footboard)?
A: Our Tailored Bed Skirt will not work with a footboard or anything that will extend beyond the expected frame of a bed, vertically or horizontally. There is not a split at the corner of this Bed Skirt; the sides of this item will wrap around the foot end of the bed approximately 3"-4" underneath the end piece of fabric. It will work on a bed frame without a footboard.

Q: Is Taupe a more brown in color? It appears so in the picture. As in other bed skirt options, the taupe color appears to be more khaki so this is why I am asking to clarify. Thank you!
A: In terms of color depth, our Taupe is darker than light and lends itself to a brown tone rather than grey.

Q: Would this work on a platform bed?
A: Yes, it should work. Our bed skirts are one full piece with a flat part that typically goes between the mattress and box spring and the drop sides are 14-15" long, so as long as your platform would work with those dimensions you should be fine!

Q: its says it has spit corners-are they open to allow for a footboard?
A: Our Bed Skirt has inverted pleats at the corners but is not open from the side to the foot of the bed. The fabric from the side panels will round the end of the bed about 4 inches to continue behind the main fabric panel at the foot of the bed. While this Bed Skirt appears to have split corners, this is an inverted pleat with fabric underneath; unfortunately it will not work with a footboard.
