Barker Junior 4" Orthopedic Dog Bed

I received this bed a week ago and thought my dog would like it. He is almost 11 years old and has some joint issues. I bought the water proof cover also to make cleaning easier. Well as of today he hasn't really slept on it! He still likes my other dog's bed better. Time will tell when I remove the other bed, maybe he'll grow to like this one.

The bed is too hard. My dog barely sleeps on it, keeps going back to her old bed. Definitely not worth the money I paid.

I bought this for our old boy for what ended up being his last month (he's unfortunately no longer with us) and it was well worth the money. He finally managed to get restful sleep on this bed after struggling for a while and it genuinely helped make his last month so much more peaceful. The price tag is 100% worth it!

I have 5 dogs and have gone through dozens of dog beds. They tend to flatten out and wear out quickly. The Big Barker is sturdy and my big boy loves it. Knowing its good for his arthritis makes me loke it even more.

Purchased for my family’s senior amputee pup, I was looking for thick foam and a bolster on only one edge so she wouldn’t struggle to climb in. This is working perfectly, great product.

Bought this for my aging Lab about 3 years ago and it ‘s kept his joints flexible enough to run like a dog half his age. Only problem is having my cat use it and my chicken of a dog refusing to make him get off.

We love our dog she truly gets treated like we treat ourselves. We have a memory foam mattress to keep us comfortable and supported at night. So does she. Hers is a BIG BARKER bed . They represent the word quality in every part of their beds. I recommend this bed it will sadly still be here after our girl has passed no doubt about it . There customer service is A1. Our 13 year old lab has trouble with her hips in her older age. This is the perfect bed for her. She is between sizes but we opted for the smaller bed because this fit in her dog house we have special made for her under our stairway. It doesn’t sag and keeps her nice and cozy off the floor. We love this bed so much we want to purchase a second one soon for another part of the house for her. Thank you Big Barker!

This is our 2nd Big Barker. Our first was purchased for our senior girl, Madeleine. She had 2 CCL injuries and a ruptured menicus and arthritis. She is 11. The second recent purchase is for our Mavis. She was jealous of the comfort. Actually they both swap daily. We recommend your beds to all our Airedale friends!

This product is good, but I wish I had bought it a size bigger to give my dog a bit more space on it. I can only give it three stars because my dog still seems to prefer the floor more than the bed. Also, it is priced more than I wanted to spend, but it is very good for the money.

I'm from Brazil, and I have a senior dog that suffers from back problems. I had been planning to buy him a Big Barker bed for a while, and finally managed to do so during a short trip to the US. Nothing I've tried before has come close to the quality of the Big Barker bed. With just a few days of use, it was already possible to notice my dog much more relaxed. Although it is not a cheap product, it is a great value for money. In addition, as I had some problems with the delivery of other items (since I stayed for a very short period in the US), I had huge help from the customer service, with very helpful and always effective employees to solve any problem that occurred. For all that, I strongly recommend not only the product but the company as a whole.

Sad to say my dog will not sleep in it . he will sit on it

We bought three of these for our petite golden doodle. One for home, one for our vacation home and one for work. Yes, she goes to work with us every day. She would not go near the bed for the first day but since the second day she loves them. So much better support than the cheap knock-offs. Although she is not a large dog, medium size dogs need this kind of support. I highly recommend Big Barker for any size dog.

Before I bought the Big Barker for my pit bull, she would often be found dangling off of her cotton-stuffed bed and appear to be super uncomfortable. Even while replacing her cotton-stuffed bed every 60-90 days, she would be dangling off of it within a week and wake up appearing to have so much stiffness. It was almost like she would rather be on the floor and it was painful to watch. Fast forward to the arrival of her Big Barker Jr.! My girl now sleeps through the entire night and doesn't appear to move a muscle! She curls her whole body up and snuggles on her bed and I can tell it really supports her! She truly sleeps 4 inches off of the ground now, instead of sinking through lumpy cotton to reach a hard floor beneath. She's a 2-year old pitbull mix and I can already see some misalignment of her back hips when she walks. It could be my imagination but I want her to remain as comfortable and joint-healthy for as long as possible. With the Big Barker, I know that will happen!

I am not sure this bed is worth the price being charged to the customers. I guess it all depends if my dog actually likes it.

I found this company after doing research on the best orthopedic bed for dogs. There is a reason they are number 1 on so many lists. The beds are great quality and very comfortable – just as stated on their website. I would recommend this bed to anyone looking provide extra comfort for a dog who might have arthritis or sore joints.

We purchased the Junior-Medium for my 60lb. foxhound, Lilly who just had TPLO surgery & it was too small, so we purchased the large. It took a couple of days for her to start to use it, but she seems to love it now! We decided to keep the smaller one for her for when she needs to hide out in the closet during T-storms & the dreaded fireworks. I was very pleased at how fast I received it.
