Description
With an emphasis on functionality, this swing arm wall lamp base is a great addition to any room. It features a handsome antique brass finish that will match virtually any shade you choose. A full range dimmer switch is located on the backplate. The plug-in style makes this lamp easy to install and use. Simply attach the lamp to the wall and plug into any standard outlet using the provided cord. Note that this design is the base only, the shade is not included. A: Hi - if using a bell shade, then a design that is around 5" across the top x 10" across the bottom x 9 1/2" high is a good size. For a drum or empire shade, a design that is around 10" across the top x 12" across the bottom is a good fit. Thank you for the question!

This is a sturdy, good-looking lamp base. The finish is good. It's easy to install. My only complaints are:The switch knob color is a bright greenish yellow metallic, and does not match the bronze color of the rest of the lamp.The dark brown cord stands out against a light colored wall.

I installed this lamp as bedside lighting to free up space on our nightstands. It was easy to install and does not require any special tools. I was happy with how much light it casts. In the future I will purchase a cord cover or have my electrician bury the cord in the wall.Pros: Easy To Assemble, Attractive Design, Adjustable
