Q: You say below that Batiste Dry Shampoo is vegetarian and vegan friendly, but this formula contains hydrolyzed collagen and keratin, which are proteins only animals can produce naturally. How are they sourced? Is it artificial collagen?

A: Answer from Batiste in no way addresses my concern. Collagen and keratin are animal proteins. Only genetic modification of bacteria to produce them artificially could make this product vegan. Is it?

I didn't find this any better than the regular Batiste dry shampoo for volumizing. It is also VERY hard to spray, so hard that I often couldn't spray from the suggested 12" away after wrestling with the can. I'll go back to the coconut scent.

If you have oily hair this is the dry shampoo to use! I have used more expensive brands and they did not touch the oil.. This is amazing it literally absorbs the oil plus add volume. Yes it gets a little tacky after the 2 and 3rd day of use. However, totally worth it .. I had given up on dry shampoo before i used this .. of note .. I have tried the other Batiste formulas and this works the best !!!!

I love batiste usually, i won’t buy any other brand of dry shampoo. This version however leaves my hair feeling sticky and causes my hair to knot up so quick. I also do not like the sneaky use of collagen, as the spray isn’t clearly labelled as an animal product.

the whole point of dry shampoo is for inbetween washes. This product will leave your hair needing 3 washes just to get it out. Do not buy this product unless you want dirty looking hair that feels like you sprayed a whole can of hairspray in it.

I’ve tried cheaper brands and more expensive Sephora brands and by far this one has been the best dry shampoo for me! Usually my hair still falls flat in a couple hours with other dry shampoos but this one keeps my hair good without a wash for a day or two!

I naturally have hair that tends to get oily fast no matter what I do! And this helps me so much, I wash my hair 1-2 times a week now! It also, has given me so much confidence with the way it makes me hair look so effortless and natural and gives me so much volume!!! And it isn’t all weird feeling in your hair either!! Absolutely INNNN LOVEEEE. 10/10. My only complaint is I need a bigger bottle LOL!

I don’t think this dry shampoo is for everyone. I have semi-thick, very oily hair. Other dry shampoos take my hair back to what it’s like a few hours after wash and dry (already a little oily and flat). This dry shampoo takes my hair to somewhere it doesn’t naturally go - no oil and lots of volume. I love it for that reason. I took one star off because it’s extremely difficult to work the white through my dark hair. Additionally, it makes your hair feel stiffer and harder to work through (I actually don’t mind this but some might). I find both drawbacks worth it still. People I don’t think this dry shampoo would work for - people with thin and/or dry hair, people who want to be able to run their fingers through silky hair.

This is the WORST dry shampoo I’ve ever used. I love all of the other Batiste dry shampoos, so I decided to give this one a try for extra volume and it actually makes my hair feel gross? It makes my hair feel dry and dusty and doesn’t soak in like the other kinds. It feels like I put baby powder on my head and then hair sprayed it on there. Super gross!

I really hoped I'd like this because I love the scent, however it instantly turned my hair into a sticky mess. It felt like I had sprayed an entire bottle of the stickiest hair spray you can imagine. Couldn't get my fingers through my hair at all to rub it in or brush. I slept with it in my hair thinking it might soften by morning but it was just as stuck together as the night before. I have fine hair that gets oily within hours after showering and since I like to shower at night by morning my hair looks like I just worked out in a sweaty gym for hours. So far only the Batiste Overnight Deep Cleanse dry shampoo has worked for me but I don't really like the smell.

I’ve tried all of the Batiste dry shampoos and this is by far the best. My hair is very fine and I’m trying to grow it out some, so I’m avoiding using a hairdryer as much as possible (not sure if it helps lol). When I wash my hair at night, I use this the next morning and my hair immediately looks like I’ve had a blow out. The next few following days, I add in the am and my hair looks full all day. It gives it so much volume and makes it actually look thick. I can go a week without washing my hair when I use this.
