While the product did its job, there is way to much dye in it. After running my fingers through my hair, there is dye under my fingernails and on my hands. I was very excited for this product as I always seem to have some white spots from using typical dry shampoo, but am left disappointed.

I have twice attempted to use said product and ended up having to shampoo it out of my hair before leaving the house. Product leaves a powder residue all over bathroom counter/sink and drips color stain halfway down your forehead as it dries.

This was my go to product for a couple of years, not only as a dry shampoo but also as a brilliant cover up for thinning hair. It gave me confidence where I had lost mine. In the most recent can I ordered, the formula has changed and it’s completely ruined the product. It’s wet look when you spray it on, completely pointless for its purpose, it then dries and it’s almost like granules on your scalp. It doesn’t rub in and is very, very obvious. Lots of other reviews have confirmed that this is just the way the product is now. Gutted but I’ll have to find a replacement pretty quick. There’s no way I can use this in public now. CHANGE IT BACK BATISTE!!

They recently changed the formula and sprayer of this dry shampoo. It's absolutely TERRIBLE now! It makes my hair feel sticky. I can't run my fingers through my hair after using it now, like I used to be able to before they changed it. It makes my hair feel so dirty and my scalp itchy now. AND now it sprays dark color all over the place even after taking your finger off of the sprayer! Who's STUPID idea was to make the design like that!? I thought I had bought a defective can at first, but after a few more purchases and reading other recent reviews, I realize that this is how the product is now. You've lost a customer because of this.

Stained my shower/tub. Spray nozzle gets stuck down each time I try and lightly spray a layer. Doesn’t fully adhere to your hair — feels powdery no matter how little you use and brown gets on everything. Horrible purchase. Also BARELY helps make your hair look clean and fresh like dry shampoo’s literal purpose.

I LOVE the Batiste original and when I saw this brown one I wanted to give it a try. It’s not the same consistency you spray and can’t get it to dissolve instead it’s just sitting there and your fingers turn black like the mechanics after working on a vehicle.

I usually use the regular dry shampoo (which I love) but tried the dark hair version. It isn’t the same consistency, the spray area leaves a dark mess on the bottle and your fingers. It’s definitely not as good as the regular dry shampoo.

I used to love this product, especially as someone with very dark hair. When the bottle/design changed the product stopped working for me. My hair honestly looked almost wet after using it and my scalp has been getting itchy after using it (a problem I never had with this product before). I thought I was just imagining this, but after reading the other reviews, it is clear that the formula has changed. I am going to switch brands and find a new dry shampoo because I cannot really on Batiste anymore
