As someone who worked in “luxury cosmetics” for years, this is hands down the best quality and price dry shampoo. The low reviews, if not attributed to a faulty nozzle, seem to be attributed to user error in my opinion. I don’t mean this to be condescending, but there is a right and wrong way to use dry shampoo…. If you are spraying it directly on the top of your head, of course you are going to have white residue even after you rub it in! You need to lift your hair in small sections and spray UNDER the lifted section at the root. Then rub it in. This will give you way better volume AND oil absorption! I also personally find it works and looks best when I do this at NIGHT before bed. Your scalp/hair produces a ton of oil while you sleep. I lift at root in small sections and spray before bed. I do not rub it in until I wake up in the morning— it just sits all night absorbing the oil. I wake up with the cleanest, freshest hair! I went from washing every 1-2 days to stretching 4 days, sometimes more😱 I’m telling you, once you really learn techniques to use dry shampoo correctly, it IS life changing! Hope this helps!!!

Love how well this works on oil and/or refreshing. I'd give it a 5 but/ for aerosols are bad for the environment. I'm a bad girl using an aerosol.

Not too strong of a scent, works great!

I’ve been using this brand for probably 8 years. The last THREE cans I’ve gotten, the spray doesn’t work anymore. It continues to spray way after lifting your finger. It also is running out well before the can is empty. What the heck Batiste!!

I have used tresemme dry shampoo but years but recently realized, it wasn't working for my hair anymore. My hair would still look very oily. I had changing products but I gave this one a try. I live with the South Florida summer heat, had 3 day old hair AND got drizzled by rain, my hair still looked phenomenal at the end of my 15 hour day! LOVE and recommend!

5th can of this product that the can is broken and sprays all over. I should have learned my lesson.

Absolutely love this dry shampoo. I’ve tried so many different kinds and always end up back to this one. Leaves my hair looking clean for days which saves me so much time getting ready as a mom of two!

Took forever to arrive

I like the smell and the product however the white reside gets all over the room and clothes so you have to brush it off. Does the product work to clean hair yes! So if you don’t mind cleaning the residue off everything then it will be great.

This is my favorite dry shampoo, and nothing else comes close—even other items in the Batiste line. However, I am really disappointed with the smaller and more expensive cans of the past year or two. I don’t have an alternative at the moment either. Unfortunately I also have to agree with the reviews about the defective cans recently. I’ve only purchased these from Target recently, so I don’t know if there’s a more widespread issue or just ones at Target.

The product works great. It’s lightweight and leaves no white cast BUT the nozzle continues to spray after you remove your finger. This is the second 5.71 Ounce bottle I’ve had to return. Fix the nozzle!!!

Left my hair white and didn’t take away the greasy look. Also did not care for the smell. Would not recommend.

Batiste was my favorite dry shampoo for a decade and the product itself is still good. However they changed the bottles in recent months so the aerosol spray keeps coming out after your finger is released, caused for a huge amount of waste. I’ve also had bottles where the spray shoots out from under the spray cap when pressed.

Defective cans!! What’s happened with this product?! I’ve been purchasing this product for years and the last few times I’ve purchased it, the can sprays for 10 secs after I spray! Need to fix the design of the can!!
