A: It first, when you spray the Charcoal Purifying Dry Shampoo, you will see the formula appear white on your hair. Q: Why does this product contain benzyl benzoate? I understand that benzyl benzoate is an organic compound, but its also a scabies pesticide which can cause some nasty and severe side effects.

the dry shampoo itself works great but the issue lies with the container/spray nozzle. bought a bunch at once and the spray nozzle would not work after 1-2 uses. of the few where the nozzle didn’t break, then there was leakage or evaporation instead bc the container was definitely not empty with my last use, but the next time i went to use it and shook it, there was clearly nothing left inside

I first bought this product a year or so ago. It worked well. Good smell, made my hair look nicer. But the last two times I bought it the can was empty after one or two uses. I just now wanted to use it and noticed it was empty even though I only bought it a few weeks ago and used it once. Same thing happened with the can before. Given how many people have already complained about this issue, you would think they finally fix it. Will not buy again any time soon.

I can't even speak to the product itself because the packaging is so faulty. I used it once and when I tried to use it again in a few days it was all gone like it all leaked out or evaporated. Total waste of money and couldn't return it.

It does give a powdery release but later the hair does feel greasy as if it needs to be actually washed with real shampoo and conditioner. It doesn't really absorb oils fully but it's not a bad product. Needs work.

I appreciate that it does not leave any residue behind on my dark hair, and that it contains no aluminum or talc. I enjoy the clean citrus scent which is light and pleasant, and is not at all overpowering. This formula is free of parabans, sulfates, phthalates, and silicones, and does not cause scalp irritation. This is one of the better dry shampoos I've tried.
